Sorry but look at it again...it's different.

How it is in the park, that's just exactly how Japanese architecture is.
    Look at this picture:

you mean that's how Japanese architecture was.

    Not cocky; Competitive.

I think that was pretty unnecessary comet... didn't expect that from you.

What difference does that make? 1st, the castle is still there, 2nd, it's pretty clear that if it had been skyscrapers or something like that nobody would have seen Japan in it...

    voted canes.

altough the cannion park was really nice. I tought it felt to dead. I understand one part must have thisfeeling. but the broadwalk part should feel more living imo.
the canes park wasn't bad altough the colorscheme and theming from the patriot looked familiar.

    Finally here's my review:

    Pueblo Canyon Boardwalk:
Really interesting concept, but I don't really know what to think of it. Why's the damn broken? Why is there an amusement park and why did they build a ride through those ruins? I was missing some sort of readme here for further explanation. I liked some things in this one. The concept, as I said was interesting, the woody was really unique and it had a nice boardwalk atmosphere, although there wasn't any water there anymore. The Schwarzkopf was also really cool and well supported. I didn't like that it was closed down, though. The archy around the coaster was the best in the park. The bridge looked also cool, although it reminded me a bit too much of Disneylhand's he did in his PT entry. And one thing I didn't like was the strange entrance of the park. You had a nice bridge to the park and no entrance area/parking lot for that...? That was somehow confusing.

    ImaginIt:
I must say, I really loved this one. It may look a bit crowded, but I spend much more time viewing this park, although they idea behind it wasn't that creative. And I also have to agree that the themes were confusing. I thought the US-area was way to generic for the park. The other areas oozed of atmosphere, but this one looked like Worlds of Fun :p The woody has a nice layout, though. The japanese area was one of the best I've seen IMO. Shogun was cool, but I didn't like the fact that it was placed over all the other things. That made it pretty busy. The station was bombastic, I really loved the coaster going in and out the structure and those caves. The queue of it was also really nice with that garden. The exit area of the coaster was also really believable and well done. I also loved the tropical area, especially Genesis and that Sun temple. I liked how Genesis interacted with the landscape and the paths. Really nice work. All in all the ideas in the park were just a few, but the execution, archy and the details were really nice. I just wish it was bigger and more spread out. (Or if the US-section was left out and you made those two other areas bigger)

    Great work, guys!

    Alpha Legends
This park was nice, but absolutely not as good as it could have been. The setting is really brilliant, but the execution wasn't on most places. All the elements sort of worked together, but except for the wooden coaster nothing looked good on it's own. The architecture was really really basic, I would even call it ugly in most cases. The bridge, the pier construction, the atmosphere and some smaller ideas were great however. The concept is awesome too! Thanks for making this park Alpha Legends. Although it's one of the 'weakest' parks (it's not weak!) of the contest so far, I enjoyed it. :)

    Hurricanes
I don't like cliches, and most of this park was one. I hate American patriottism, so I didn't like that area at all except for the first half of the coaster, which was very good in my opinion.
The entrance area was well executed, but on the other hand it was very generic. Generic areas in general don't convince me easily, but that doesn't mean it's bad. I'm neutral towards this.
The tropical area was really good. I enjoyed every part of it, or at least what was visible of it. You Hurricanes should watch out for cramping the parks too much for it's becoming chaotic and it slows down the game.
I saved the best for last. The Japanese area was great! Just the big station alone would've won this match already. Sorry Alpha Legends! The architecture throughout this area was stunning on most places and average on a few other places. I didn't like the coaster's layout that much, but it didn't annoy me.
Hurricanes thanks again and congrats on the win already. You've got my vote!

You guys did a good job, but I think the better park won. Oh and it is always nice to beat Ride6 :p

Great work Fisch and JDP, you guys did a hell of a job on this park and got us to 2-0! So that keeps my stat of never having a team with a losing record alive :)

I didn't talk trash about the other park because I couldn't find anything to trash. Excellent job you guys. My favorite Japanese area I can remember seeing, and two great coasters. For those who commented that the rocket coaster is too sprawling, have a little imagination. That rocket coaster is to Xcelerator exactly what SheiKra is to previous vert coasters. It doesn't even require a leap of creativity, just a baby step. That kind of coaster is exactly what more NE parks need anyway.

I have appreciated all the comments on the woodie very much, especially ones like zburns', so thank you guys. Without zodiac having gotten the boardwalk rolling though, and without ride6 having done about 70% of the park in the last two days before it was due and doing a pretty damn good job on it I might say, this match would not even have been respectable. So kudos to both you guys.

I almost voted for the Boardwalk park here. I was leaning towards it the entire time, but after I took a more in-depth look at the Hurricane's park I changed sides. Legend's park had all the ideas, but I felt the execution could have been a bit better. I loved what was there though, the broken dam, the landscaping, the crashed paddle boat, and all the debris.

As for the Hurricane's park, it was all very nice. Fairly good execution. I didn't like the large mountain under the tophat, something just felt off about it. The architecture was all very nice, although I felt both of your styles clashed a bit much. I'm pretty sure JDP did both coasters. The GCI was just fantastic, very good transitions out of the first drop. I think if both of your styles of architecture didn't clash so much the park would have been even more outstanding.

    Well done to both teams.

Also thank you for this very nice park!

Guessed all the builders right again :D

Well done guys. I thought Boardwalk was the better park, so it's a shame it was beaten, but still, well done Hurricanes.

I still stand behind my opinion about your park fisch, as I think you're using the 'mainstreet style' a bit too much.. It looks nice though, but not very creative in my opinion..Maybe I've worded myself a bit poorly on that Saturday night and probably had too much beer, but I didn't want to insult or anything.. If I did, please accept my apologies..

Great match-up, and after all a deserved winner.

Good job on getting 2-0 with a nice percentage Hurricanes, and still having the big guns left to compete!

haha. JDP used to get serious heat back in the day, but this kid knows his shit, trust me. I haven't come across anyone who could do a GCI as good as him, except maybe Phatage.

Oh and it is always nice to beat Ride6 :p

Oh fuck you too. In this ongoing conflict of ours I've only 'won' once, by a total of 4 votes in the entire post season (Simi-Finals on by 2 votes I believe, both finals parks won by 1 each).

The main hing that's embarrassing about this is how big of a name I am, yet I still lose. But honestly I pulled 90+ % of the weight here, much of which was in the last three or four days. It was very very rushed. Given proper time I'll pick anyone apart :D.

I just want to say thanks to ride6 and panic for us having a good park to face off against. I have the most respect for the both of you and am happy that I was able to face off against you two. And thanks for the props panic; it was our confrontation that corrected my behavior on the site, so thanks.

I also want to give a big thanks to fisch. You really busted your ass on this park and it really shows. Nothing like a great partner to work on a great park with.

As for the coasters, fisch had the basic idea of the layout for Shogun and I perfected it. And yes I did the GCI... thanks for the comments Gee, means much.

Thanks to everyone who voted for us and enjoyed the park and a big thanks again to the Alpha Legends for a great match up.

    Hurricanes: 2-0 :)

yeah, i'll admit, i really didn't do much on this park. i did maybe half of the adventure ride and the boardwalk coaster, both of which ride6 reworked. other than that, there were about four buildings on the boardwalk. that's it. i have to give it up to ride6 and panic for bringing the park to life, though. you guys did a great job.
