The Testament is probably the best Fantasy park ever!

The ideas in there where awesome, the Holy Trinity idea was insane, 3 chasing coasters! I like the Christmas star ride that was cool, and i also really liked the Aardvark in the corner.

South Park was good but nothing too special it seemed to combine realism and fantasy and that doesn't work for me.

    Vote= The Testament

    Interestd too see the builders

If I'm the only one bothered by the fact that it looks like crap (from any angle), would be horribly painful to ride, is completely unnecessary with a little foresight and toggling of track elements, and would get you fired instantly from any coaster design company, then I guess I'm preaching in the desert. Whatever. I apologize to the builder of that coaster. He probably did a bunch of great theming in this park. It's just that when I spend hours revising a coaster layout to make it aesthetically pleasing, completely rideable by real-life standards, devoid of any unnecessary straight or unbanked sections or whatever, and well paced, and people appreciate that, and then days later a park with this gets called the best H2H park of the year, it's a little frustrating.

Yay, Guess I'm the first one to really comment.

    South Park Studios:
Doesn't look as impressive as the Elementalists park, but Ingame it was really nicely done. I really liked the whole idea of the park. It looked like a real park, but it could also exist in the TV show. I liked how you made the comic look actually work in this park. The textures aren't not detailed, they are cartoonish, and I hope people will notice that. It's cool that you really recreated all the landmarks of Southpark. I especially loved the school. It was a pity that there wasn't something in every building, I think you could have done more with those. Some buildings didn't really fit, like the station of the puke ride (really cool idea to make this one intense ;) ) or the station of Big Gay Al's animal thingy. They had too much texture and details compared to the other buildings. IMO if a park looks cartoonish, it should look like that all over the place. I liked how all the animals were doing gay stuff or something like that, made me laugh. Also the 4D cinema was hilarous. Great idea on that one. I didn't like the woody that much. You could have done much more with Kennys death. All in all it was a nice little park with many ideas and a nice clean cartoonish look on it.

    The Testament:
First I thought - wait... Another Heaven and Hell theme? But it wasn't like this. Sure it was a religous theme, but it was done really well. There were details everywhere. Although I'm no religious person I found it really nice. What caught my eyes first was the looper. It was nice with the two different cars, but I thought it was done by Freerider before and I didn't get the father/son idea behind it. The Genesis area was really cool. The creation ride was perfectly done and I loved that one. Also the Noah's ark made me smile with that cheesy rainbow. haha. I liked how that animal looked out of the roof! ;D Serpent was also really good. Had a nice flowing layout. The Egypt area was nice, but not as good as Genesis. Here I loved the whale and the plague ride with the dividing sea and the grasshoppers in the air. Betlehem was a bit cheesy also, haha but I guess it should be that way. The custom ride was nice. And I absolutely loved the queue going into the ship, looked a bit like Gardaland. Jerusalem reminded me a bit of Assasin's Creed, which is a good thing. The next thing that caught my eyes was the little Medieval area, I'm a sucker for those. The archy was beautifully done. The Apocalyptic area looked a bit crammed. There was too much going on to figure out what's going on. No food, war, crashing stuff and so on... Why's there no Jesus on one of those crosses? :p Great park Elementalists, hopefully this one brings you back into the game again!

Did I already say that I love this H2H5?

Another easy vote this round. I voted for Testament.

The concepts were done with great attention to detail and generally successful. I thought the rides were great and enjoyed the four horsemen idea a lot. The architecture was alright...mostly good and many great areas. The serpent sculpture was a nice touch. Lots of ideas and hardwork which are definitely evident in the park itself. Downsides were the extreme clutter of the park and claustraphobic feel in many areas. The architecture, though generally of good design, lacked any sort of conciseness or consistency. Basically the park was a jumbled mess crammed into as few spaces as possible. With that said, the creativity and talent are evident...just work on the execution some and you could have had a masterpiece.

I was disappointed with the southpark park. I have been a big fan of southpark since season 1. My first impression of the park was that the paths were terrible and the architecture was sub-par. I noticed a lot of signs around explaining what part of southpark some of the things were, but without the signs I would never have known...so the park exuded a gimmicky and hokey feel. I felt nothing succeeded in effectively showing the southpark theme. Good points were the terrance and phillip statues and the rides. The water ride was great. Just overall not a good park or execution of the park's concept.

I love south park but I felt the execution of the theme park wasn't done to well at all. I felt for making a park like this, it should have been more realistic and your ride names should have been better.

The Testament park was well, ugh too over whelming. The layouts for the coasters were just horrific and the elements were boring. As for the scenery and landscaping, I just felt that it was placed to give that look that says "hey look at all the stuff we can fit in a map".

That is all I have to say and all I want to say so go ahead and flame me if you want.

Vote goes the Elementalists because I am just going to pretend I voted from looking at the overview.

Panic i can see where your coming from but i feel your a bit over the top. its not a park destroying problem. and i disagree with the 2 woodie ones anyway. i think they look fine and would give a pop of air.

Also the straight track might just be modelled on shockwave :p

Anyway as far as the parks go (i cant vote) but i cant get south park to open at the moment despite copying the data file. will try again later

Well, I guess I am in the minority again. I wasn't crazy about the South Park park, but I thought the Testament was waaay too messy for my taste. I'm certainly not a coaster connoiseur, but I just hate to see coasters running into each other...it just kills the whole park for me. I know its a fantasy park, but you would never see this in real life and I just can't get past that....sorry.

the testement had lots of really cool details and great execution, didn't even lag too much. sp studios seemed to simple and not detailed and boring- took me two seconds to work through where as the testement had so many cool things it took me 5 minutes to get through the whole park.

i especially liked the work in the back of the park, with the nativity, second temple, and those other buildings. those were cool. this made me want to do a trippy garden of eden inspired theme as well

For a second I thought this was a strange matchup, being South Park versus The Bible, but it seems I briefly forgot LAA's full portfolio (http://www.nedesigns...ers&a=view&p=13). It's a weird coincidence (even more so when you consider our teams last park).

Anyways, I'll comment later. I'm fond of South Park, so I'm curious to see what's going on with that.
  • Six Frags%s's Photo
Haha, that is just too bizare xcoaster! :p
I didn't know there already was build a South Park park, and a Testament park (exact same name too), and even built by the same person!

That makes this the most weird match-up ever! :p

I hope you are not serious about having looked at the testament for only 5 minutes. You cannot even watch all rides in that time. (The two seconds are hopefully a metaphor ...)

This is not only pointed at you, but people should really take their time with the parks and not vote after looking at parks for only a few minutes. Getting the people, who worked their asses of to get parks for h2h done, some time is the least to ask for I think and most parks have a lot of amazing things hidden you certainly cannot recognize at a first view.

The Testament was just amazing. There were little details all over the place and I think it will take forever to see every little detail. In my opinion it's one of the best RCT2 parks ever build. This park would have been every H2H park, I think, and the Elementalists really deserve the win here, althrough I really liked our park too, but it was just outmatched by such a great park. Well done, builders.

    I voted South Park Studios.

    Testament:

Another stolen idea :p What is with everyone stealing the ideas out of my head recently?
The idea was great, the execution was great.
I loved how you brought each bible story to life. The architecture was top notch.
But the coasters lacked and it was too busy. You had so many ideas, which created so many small areas, something like this would have been better on a bigger scale. But not on the scale of an H2H park. I think it was amazing to see you tackle this theme, and you have pulled it off, but it was way too busy for my liking, maybe fewer but bigger areas would have been better. Also I wonder whether all your parks are going to have this 'Bible/Religous' theme. Art of War had Genesis, then a Heaven & Hell theme, and now this, I wonder what's next.

    Things I loved:
    -Tower of Babel
    -Entrance Gates
    -Christmas Star

    South Park Studios:

Amazing. Simply fantastic. The whole idea and execution is fabulous. Yes, from the overview it seems to be lacking, but from the overview you can instantly tell that the architecture is based on the South Park town, and therefore it is going to look lacking from a distance. But once in game it was brilliant. The custom music was brilliant, you had me singing along :p Terrance & Phillip statues were done very well, the projection screen was a really nice touch too. Mecha Streisand was brilliant. Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boatride made me laugh. I loved the building in Cartman's Patrol that had the roof shaped like the top of Cartman's head, that was fantastic. The invert's layout was a bit weird, resembled more of an SLC than a B&M, but that's nothing, it had flow and great pacing so that's all that matters. I was dissappointed Chef's Restaurant wasnt serving his delicious Chocolate Salty Balls or Fudge Em's. I think naming the shops inside Chef's restaurant like that would have been better than naming them Chef's Restaurant but again that's only a little thing. The woodie was good too. Again, like Pueblo Canyon, it worked really well with the landscape. It's flow was tremendous and whilst the pacing was a bit iffy in some places, the flow made up for it. Just like Pueblo Canyon it used a double lift, something I really dislike, but I managed to look past it. So yeah, overall it was thuper, thankth for athking. And it got my vote.

    Things I loved:
    -Mecha Streisand
    -Custom Music
-Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride

What I like most of the AL's park was the boat tour. Well done!
Because of the fact that I dont know SP well, i cant judge about this park.

I dont understand why people are not voting on our park, just because it has a lack of details? The whole South Park serie's and movie are like this building style... :) Keep that in mind peeps... Vote Alpha Legends..! :D
