A well-deserved winner of the title sequence contest. Has everything, from good macro, architecture with the hotel, ride design, and intricate detail. My favorite area has to be the pier with all the boardwalk games and rides. Outstanding job on the starflyer/windseeker.
Totally agree with Bluetiful Monday! This was my favourite from the contest and a worthy winner indeed. Epic landscaping (especially the seafloor stuff), great ride design (the duelling single-rails are a highlight), superb architecture (esp. the hotel!) and all-around creative use of objects/rides to bring it all together. Can't wait to see what's next from you!
Really cool park guys. Stand out for me was the dueling coaster - well done. I think the coaster line up is solid and elevates this park. The overall setting and park design is cool. One thing that stood out to me perhaps in a bad way was the diagonal stage roof - that was not easy on the eyes! That plaza of the park relied a bit too heavily on wooden coaster track and thus makes it less readable. In other words, if you have too much coaster, your buildings look like coasters. Hope that makes sense.
Either way, sounds like you guys won, so kudos! Job well done.
I enjoyed this park a lot. The compact nature of it makes finding the small details fun. One minor detail I liked was your use of "parking lot sections". I also liked the different flat rides you built like the starflyer by the water. The water details as well, like the little rapids to simulate waves, is clean and simple. The hotel against the water is cool as well. Overall nice map, worthy winner, and congrats again!
this was an enjoyable map, good stuff! the scale of it is impressive, and definitely played into what i liked the most. for me, the best things on this map were at the macro level - the landscape, the overall feel, you did a good job with this.
at the micro level there was lots that i enjoyed, and lots that i didn't love so much. the rides were all great, some interesting coasters with lovely layouts and settings. really loved the big tower right on the corner of the coast too.
- immediately I opened this and I knew I'd be a high vote. I just love the feel and atmosphere of it. The only way it's possible to get that kind of feel in a park is when its builder has a really clear vision and sticks to it.
- the macro is top tier. From the position of the hotel, to the coasters wrapping the park in place, and the pier. It's great
- maybe there's a few too many trees on the map? On land that's a little too jagged and textured maybe? The hill over looking the park feels smash-filled. Just a few little extras to justify so much non-park land being there, like picnic spots, an observatory at the top, just something to justify it being there
- love seeing these new go kart pieces, they look amazing here on the diagonals
- really nicely detailed carousel, general use of trackitecture is actually really nice, and I usually hate it.
- some ugly moments. The fire volcano pit with red sides isn't really seamless.
really enjoyed this, a park with a real identity.
