What a lovely Christmas release. You left 14 years ago after dropping Canyoneer, and Creag Mhòr picks up right where you left off, with a heavy focus on the natural environment. However, the less serious side from Zippo’s is also present, and I can tell how you recycled certain (Scottish) elements from that park as well, as well as the castle screens you posted in the AD back then. Creag Mhòr is a summary of your NE career.

The map instantly draws me in with the sound design. Music complements the architecture to establish a strong sense of place. First thing I did is actually follow the river instead of going into the park, and the sound of the water was so soothing! I heard a distant waterfall so I went to look for it, and there it was! And I followed up the waterfalls, and came across the remote part of Ghillie Dhu - what a spectacular setting for a coaster. The entire coaster is 10/10. The setting, the layout, but also the station and queue area and interactions with the launch. Absolutely fantastic work.

I’m not going to describe everything that I see and like right now, I hope to do that in a later review (I have yet to write my Zippo’s review, fifteen years later, oops). For now: fantastic work on all aspects here. Sound, sense of place, landscaping, architecture, rides, and fun detailing and storytelling. Welcome back, for real now!

Really enjoyed the park! So cool to see your style of parkmaking with all the new objects and features of the game. Everything is super cute and well-fitting; it just feels really good, especially with the custom music as you explore each area. The macro is top-notch as well, and definitely a huge improvement from your past work! Really enjoyed taking in the vibe zoomed out and exploring around the landscape.

Overall it was a great viewing experience. You have a unique style and it's very refined in this park. Glad you are back on NE!

Man much to love on this park. The landscape and foliage is the main highlight here, you already showed you mastered that with Canyoneer and this is taking that up a notch. I loved to wander around that forest, the added nature sounds add so much and make it almost seem real.

The uniform architecture was a strong aspect of this map and helped a lot to make this place feel real and believable. I like the selection of rides and how subtle they were implemented in their environment. All with a great respect to the domain.

The Ghillie Dhu coaster was my favorite, love the Helix/Toutatis mash-up and it flows really well. Loved the colors on it as well, many people would suggest against all green colors but I like it a lot and I'm glad you went for it.

Really liked this park, loved to see a map this big mainly filled with forest. Outskirts really were great, this whole map feels like I could just walk into it. Wish this was a real place.

What a great NE Christmas present to open this morning.  Your eye for natural landscaping is truly a gift and some of the best I have seen.  I especially love the shoreline along the river and waterfalls.  I'm going to study how you did the waterfalls so I can "try" and incorporate them in Phoenix.  Everything just works together in a peaceful country setting.  The park for me is almost the supporting piece to the rest of the outside park goodness.  So glad you are back in action.  Its like you never left.  Well done!

Incredible, stunning, gorgeous, I'm in love

Top tier landscaping, your eye for subtle detail without ever feeling overdone is next level. Sound design is some of the best I've experienced. The entrance lot into village plaza is unbelievably immersive, I was hooked instantly. Everything is so rich in color, texture, detail, life without losing any legibility. It's all so believable

I had just as much enjoyment exploring the natural surroundings as the park itself. Exceptional release, thank you for it, I would love to create something together someday

In a broader context, seeing another old school player return and capably acclimate to new tools while maintaining the same underlying style as previous work is incredibly satisfying, though I can't help but imagine what types of things we would see from lost members in today's game

I wonder if it would even be possible to track down former members and stage a reunion, I would pay real human money for a "master's showcase" just to see what RRP, Coaster Ed, Mala, sloB, 5dave, and so many others could do with modern RCT

Between the landscaping, composition, and overall immersion, this map is fantastic and has such an overwhelmingly pleasant and happy vibe.  I really loved the terrain RMC here and all of the architecture.  Your attention to detail with how the architecture would be viewable for guests is also awesome as I kept picturing myself in some of these beautiful spaces.  The riverbeds are fantastic and definitely will be coming back to that as I've always wondered how to get that "rocky" look you'd see in a park like this.

    Fantastic!
