i was just looking at my predictions from before the season, and then i found this post underneath one of mine. it was right after i said that the astros would beat the cards in the playoffs. just thought id bring it back up.

Don't know if it was local or not, but they went to commercial while the pitcher was warming up, then came back to the game just in time for us to hear "Grand Slam", then we got to see the guy run across the plate!

ok, so we lost. but it didn't help that that series had rediculous amounts of bad calls. mainly against the cardinals. the strikezone was whack for both teams, though, i'll admit that.

My White Sox in 5 prediction is holding up so far.
It's nice, for once, to be able to watch the Series without holding a vested interest for either side--either for the Red Sox or against the Yankees.

I'm unofficially rooting for the Astros though, now that they are the underdogs.
