Yeah the Lakers got screwed and now Memphis is getting screwed. But did you really need to start a whole new topic just for this Kumba? Care to place any wagers? -

Geez, we least the Lakers aren't the only ones to make shitty trades, tho Shaq for Odom (basically) still ranks as like the top worst trade ever. Or maybe #2, cuz didn't the Charlotte Hornets trade Kobe Bryant to LA for Vlade Divac?
But geez! Miami is a monster now! They have two PG's, tho J-Will would prolly start, Wade is like the best SG in the league (yea I know that's arguable), Walker will be great as a role player, and of course, Shaq.
Looks like we have a new favorite to represent the East... but can they beat the Spurs?Great defense always beats great offense.

Im simi worried they could become like Portland and Dallas, so loaded it does not work, however with guys like Shaq, Stan Van Gundy, Zo and Pat Riley I think the got the right leaders to bring bad apples around. -

SPEAKING OF SAID BASKETBALL TEAM
Way to get jack shit in that deal. I hope they spend those two 2nd round draft choices wisely, because honestly I don't see any real upside for the Celtics in that trade. Just 2 or 3 no-names and some picks. -

Okay, this is just too freaking much.
Spurs Get Michael Finley
As if they couldn't get even better... they just did.
Huge blow to the Mavs, since they lose him to a division rival for nothing. At least Lakers lost Shaq to the other division for nothing. And yes I realize we still have Lamar Odom; my point still stands.
They also signed Nick Van Exel, who will be a great off the bench. Man, with such a solid support cast to Duncan, Ginobili, and Parker, the Spurs will be LETHAL next year.
Oh, and the Lakers hired Kareem Abdul Jabbar as a special assistant coach. Pretty cool to have him back with the organization. He's prolly only there to help Andrew Bynam, but choosing one of the best Centers in History to do that ain't too shabby a move.
