What is "cosmic" bowling? And what's this about not being competitve. My friends and I take bowling pretty seriously. We have at least one "money game" per night.

It's when they turn off all the lights and turn on the neon, strobes, fog machines and crappy music galore. Good times ensue.

Ah. I know what you're talking about. None of the local places do that here, though. That's okay, keeps it cheaper.
That, and, like I said before, I take my bowling seriously.

I hate all the strobes and shit. I can't concentrate with that stuff. But when it's just for fun, whatever.

Man the strobes and stuff is cool. It doesn't really bother me. I don't go too often... my best is only like a 160. It seems that I can get into a rythym with strikes and spares, but I still end up with a low score. Oh well, I just do it for fun... one of my friends back up in PA is on the school bowling team... he's pretty good.

I stopped bowling when I got my fingers stuck in a ball (I picked a small light one because I assumed it would be easier), and when I went to bowl, the ball didn't leave my hand and I went arse over feet infront of about 80 people.

Who the hell keeps score in bowling? Lighten up, fuckers. I think I got over 100 once. Actually, that's probably the only game I've finished in recent years.

Of the two alleys I go to, both of them have automatic scorekeeping, with a whole fancy display over each lane on a big TV.

Old school up in Pennsylvania does... down here in Georgia we get nothing... our school has a club for croquet but not for bowling... what's up with that?

Croquet is like the most boring sport in the world compared to bowling...

Bowling is pretty fun.. Havent been for months though. I don't go bowling often just maybe 5 times a year with friends. The bowling alley in my town has the auto score keeper, never really remember my score more than the time i am there I think my best score was high one hundreds.
