this is what you do in thai, chinese, and indian places. i take some of everything and mix it all together with rice. that way if there is something i don't like i won't notice it.
on another note: i can eat most anything and most anyamount and not get fat. most, if not all, of my family has extremely high metabolism, plus we are physically active people; well, not my dad but he works all day and doesn't eat lunch, but that is another story!
Yeah, your family looked pretty fit in that post your picture thread. I'd have to watch my weight if I didn't swim so much and lift weights.
Yeah, I do the mixing thing a lot now. Did it at PF Changs with lemon chicken and mongolian beef and other stuff, it was kind of wierd. At most asian/chinese restaraunts I mix a single dish with rice, but with the mexican, I'm talking about dumping out the taco stuff, tearing up the shells, cutting up an enchilada, and mixing them with rice and beans. I dunno, I kind of feel wierd when the mexican waiter comes by and sees me eating the masterpiece like that.
And yeah, Thai food is good. I haven't really tried much Japanese stuff, so I wouldn't know, but I did have vegitable sushi and thought it wasn't very good. -

Well, it can be okay sometimes. As soon as I walk into any foreign place like that the smell just immediately turns me off to eating in general. Plus, every time I eat it I get sick. -

What about duck? I love mongolian barbequed duck. All tender and juicy. Damn this college life of mine! -

I thought everybody did this, but I mentioned it the other day and was looked at like I was an alein. I put Ruffles potato chips on my peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. It has to be Ruffles (the texture and saltiness is just right), and it has to be Jif Creamy peanut butter, and it has to be grape jelly (I don't like seeds in my jelly), and it has to be fresh white bread...so fresh that it sticks to the roof of your mouth.
Surely others do the same. Right? -

Since my Father is from NC, I eat Fried Fish (Whitie), Steak, Ribs, Collargreens, Chopped BBQ, Chicklings, Mac and Cheese, Stew, Baked Beans, Fried Chicken, and more.
And my Mom is from Jamaica. So I eat Curry Chicken, Jerk Pork and Chicken, and some other stuff I can't even spell. -
