    Update 11-1

Well a new cinema was just built near the dormant volcano between Jagz Railway and the dueling coasters with a 9.76 and 9.71 excitement rating (9.99 I). Here is a screen of it along with the other attractions.

Hahah I think I need to stop showin so much but whatever. The next screens will be of the new area. These are from the first area and it takes up around 1/3 of the map. I am over 1/3 done with the park including the waterways.

    You work very fast.

The dueler seems interesting but maybe change the black supports, it looks kind of weird. But good job so far on the other screens.

Don't make your landscaping so jagged. Flatten it out in some places.

I think it's lovely and I love the landscape. Great job.

Very good duelling effect in this screen! :beerchug:
    I love it!

Nice duelers, good achitecture too. I don't really like how nearly every piece of ground is jagged but isn't bad. Nice footpath choices.

Your screens are like variations on a well-established style -- but done really, really well. Your landscaping, texture use, tree placement, and coaster design all look spot on. So much so that I don't mind that I've seen all of these shapes and textures before in some other subtly different combinations. It's kindof exciting to see something this well-composed in LL again. If you could improve your architecture, you'd be up there with the top LL parkmakers based on what I've seen here. Your landscaping especially impresses me. Maybe a little over-reliance on jagged rocks, but I like how that cliff sweeps through the top of the last screen and the rambling queue line in the one before that and how that cliff creates a focal point in that screen with the mine train coaster. Maybe it's just instinct, but you've nailed a lot of subtley complex compositional qualities just right in these screens. Well done. I'm impressed.

Thanks all. I appreciate those who commented.

And the reason it is so jagged in the last screen there is because there is the helix of the inverted coaster in there. So I did what I could.

I have been workin on Invsion, a floorless vertical dropping looper. Haha cool words huh? Well I should have screens of that in a few days or so.

    UPDATE 11-13

New area. It wasnt meant to be snowy like at first but I need one in this park so yea... here it is. And Ed, I tried to spice it up a bit right here. The architecture wil get better I'm sure.

    Beautiful. Just fucking beautiful.

Good to see at least someone can still build in LL...

But your mini-golf stations are glitching through the woodie. Looks ugly as shit.

I don't see why a lot of people don't like this. I think this is one of the nicest projects in construction. The screen before this one caught my attention especially, you do seem to have a natural instinct for good looks and composition, which is refreshing to see. Not so keen on the landscaping in this newest screen, it seems a bit redundant.
  • Ride6%s's Photo
The mini golf stations hurt it in a big way. There's also still supports underneith that spot where the go karts cross over the water. As Turtle mentioned the landscaping seems a bit redundent in it's current form too, it doesn't need to be jagged everywhere.

Oh but I also agree on Turtle about the overall composition and carefully crafted forms used here, its pretty refreashing in that respect.

Please, do not use jagged landscaping anymore. It's boring. It's ugly. It's unoriginal.

I think that besides landscaping, you are severely lacking structures. No, I'm not talking about those weird buildings that the queue lines go through, I mean like, restaurants and shops, and stuff. Right now I'm just seeing paths and rides, which ultimately does not equal amusement park. Even the scenarios require that you provide food, etc--I'm not making it up. :p

Well, I think its quite interesting. I havent seen a lot of parks using the winter trees lately so I think its quite nice.
  • JDP%s's Photo
eh, yeah the land scaping is starting to get old but only level it out in future pictures so it dont look too jaged all over the place.

oh yeah, the coaster is good but get rid of the mini golf sections, way too fake and stupid looking.
  • posix%s's Photo
gir what he wants to do hardly has anything left in common with an amusement park.

and as always, i think the screen sucks.

:OMG: Ha posix, I love how your pretty much not liking my work because of the way I build is different than yours. And if thats not the case here, then try telling me what I can do to make it more pleasing.

Well anyway, thanks and keep the comments/suggestions coming. I appreciate it.
