Corkscrewed OfflineWow, I NEVER expected a 5-1 road trip, especially with wins against good teams like Dallas and Memphis. If only we hadn't blown that lead against the Wolves...

But wow. I'm impressed. I can only hope we play as consistently as this for the rest of the season, with everyone working together AS A TEAM, and actually PLAYING DEFENSE.

This gives me hope that we can make the playoffs. Meanwhile, I'll laugh at the Clips right now through their mini-skid. And only because I have the chance to.

Fatha' OfflineMan, we look good. I hope the Clippers (overrated) and the Lakes (kinda hot) are ready.

Corkscrewed OfflineRockets w/ T-Mac: 9-4 (or something like that)
 Rockets w/o T-Mac: 0-8
And isn't it crazy how ONE GAME separates the #2 and #7 seeds in the West? Granted, the #4 seed (Dallas) has a better record than the Clips, but for stats purposes, it's still interesting.

 Brent should like this article.
Lakers won tonight. They're actually playing as a team and playing well! So yeah, I guess they may exceed my expectations. As long as they keep on playing like they are, with defense oriented first and Kobe not jacking up all the freakin' time, we should make the playoffs as a low seed at least.
So yeah... definitely enjoying this current stretch of 6 wins in last 7 games.

Fatha' OfflineToo bad itll end soon Cork, cuz us Rockets are gonna spank yall. I feel for Chris Mihm.

Livingston is back, so Cassell and Cat are on the sides ready to drain shots left n right. They did it with (MVP) Brand playing with the flu, scoring 9 in the final minutes. Brent

Corkscrewed OfflineOn my honor, when I heard the Clips were in New Jersey to play tonight, I had a feeling they'd lose. One of those "you know, I wouldn't be surprised if they lost" type things, much like when they lost to Philadelphia. Vince Carter really helped my fantasy team tonight! Vince Carter really helped my fantasy team tonight!
And I hope the Lakers maintain their current lead over Dallas. Up 18 at the moment, but they blew a lead this big earlier this season, so yeah. *crosses fingers*
 OUCH of the night:
A little over halfway through the 3rd quarter of the Miami-Atlanta game, the score was 81-43 in favor of the Heat.
 FANTASY DREAM of the night:
Kobe Bryant has scored 62 points in three quarters. Lakers killing the Mavs. Magnus will prolly be upset. 95-61 after three quarters.
Lets put it this way: Kobe scored 30 pts in the 3rd quarter alone. After 3 quarters, it was Kobe 62, Mavs 61.
 Yeah, that's HOT.Edited by Corkscrewed, 20 December 2005 - 11:36 PM.
