The Korea - Togo game was suprisingly the best game today. France did fuck all, Henry looked tired after half hour, and Brazil didn't impress me much either, oh well, I was looking forward to seeing them 'do their thing' too.

Yeah, Brazil really was disappointing... If they play like this in the 1/8 finals (if they make it) they could be eliminated by the Czechs or Italians..
They're lucky they got this playing field with only Japan and Australia to go (although if they play like this even those two could be a threat).. Just a bunch of elite millionairs, with no team-play whatsoever.. Did you see Ronaldo 'running' btw

That footer Kaka scored was pretty sweet. Otherwise, the game was pretty boring.

Fortunately, The Surrender-Alls vs the All-Neutrals was even more boring, so Brazil doesn't have to be embarrassed.

You know whats really depressing? Seeing the ESPN scroll bar show the US final score, and then attempting to watch the game knowing they lost...it kinda takes the excitement out of it.

yeah Germany just got out of jail with that one, Klinsman made some really good substitutions in the right areas and Poland having a player sent off really made the result inevitable. I'm glad Germany won, because the chances are England will play Ecuador in round 2 prodiving everything goes right, we don't want to be playing the host nation lol- England have bad results against home nations in the world cup.

Well first half was ok, but the 2nd half was great. With Odonkor coming on the field Germany played really good. Klinsmann should consider using him more often. Just because of the fact he runs the 100meter in 10.7 (with football boots) he is a nightmare for every defense.

What do you think about the Argentina - Serbia and Montenegro, match?

Hislop has done the best keeping of the tournament, no doubt.
And their defense has done very well also.
Offensively, they seem a bit lacking, but they've made every opportunity they've had count, and that says something.

I had them going till the semi's, but after this match I think they will be eliminated in the 1/8 finals (by either Ecuador or Germany)..
