I work for HSBC in a pensions divison, I maintain databases - bit of a techie role. Lots of VB, Excel, Word, Access as well as our main system. Its quite interesting.

I guess I'd love to be a footballer as every lad would. Or a model, anything which involves sex, booze and money really.

I work for Zurich North America as a Property Claims Specialist (fancy title for an adjuster). I handle primarily theft, burglary, robbery losses for small businesses throughout the US. As boring as insurance may be to some, I actually enjoy what I do and plan to make a career out of it. I hope to become a general adjuster doing large fire & catastrophe losses some day (they make 6 figures  ).

I have a BA in Mathematics & Computer Science and previously wanted to go into computer programming or graphic design, but it never happened because of the slump the computer industry was in when I graduated college. I kinda just stumbled into insurance when I got an entry-level job here in the call center.

Currently I'm working at Locos Deli & Pub as a waiter. Great job and an awesome college sports atmosphere. That way I never miss the games. :)

I have been acting like I work lately coz of the inturnship I have with my colleges newspaper, but since I only need to put in 6 hours a week and don't get paid I guess its not really a job...

I had one once tho, as a factory worker handleing door parts, like the things you see so it closes slowly, I handled boxes of them and stuff in a big ass werehouse with no AC in the summer here in Miami, had to wake up at 6 am, did not get home till 6 pm, they would not let me sit down at all, damn that job was a bitch, have not worked since, but I pick up cash playing poker to get by...

Ah Wallgreens. I mainly work in the photo lab. Hoping to enter the managment training program next summer to get a nice bump up in pay and then ride that out til I'm done with grad school and can start full time architecture internships.

So many jobs... so little time at each, lol.

I'm "currently" at In-N-Out (#200, their goal store) here in Temecula, CA. Opened it back in December and knew I wasn't staying long since I wanted out of the food industry to start working in the AC industry to start to get a feel of it as I'm the only one in the fam who has the chance of taking over my dad's buisness.

That oppritunity came on Monday, and I got it. On Monday I start working at USAir Condition Distributors Temecula warehouse. Now instead of $9.25 an hour @ In-N-Out, getting no more than 32 hours a week, I'm getting $10.50 an hour, with weekends off, but have to work every other saturday... but I'll be getting overtime. Regular 8-5 hours doing warehouse work (a small one, nothing like a lowes, costco, home depot, etc, as this is just AC & Heating stuff) in a satellite warehouse here in town. Starting in June is when I'll be doing the computer database position, as I have to start in the back (which still isn't bad) to get a good knowledge on the products/customers.

Should be fun... expecting to take over my dad's biz in 6-8 years.

Most people know that I'm self employed. I am the operating partner in an Italian restaurant and a shareholder in a separate restaurant. I have great staff and management and believe it or not don't work too hard. It's a good gig!

I used to work at Marketing Management Inc. as a graphic designer for grocery labels. I was laid off a few weeks ago, but I've since started as a graphic designer at Craftmade Ceiling Fans and Lighting, designing packaging, brochures, catalogs and stuff. I started making more than I was at my last job and this job is 30 miles closer to my house...although with Dallas traffic it still takes me an hour to go 20 miles during ruch hour. So, the layoff actually worked in my favor.

I help coach a swim team for two hours two nights a week. It's not much, but I don't really care, I have a bunch of other stuff to do. In the summers, I've worked at a water park or at a public pool as a life guard. I'm hoping to do work at my dad's office as well as help coach the swim team over the summer (and record a bunch with my friend on the side).

I worked at the medical records location for a local healthcare corporation until yesterday. I quit. Filing papers is boring. Worked there for a year and four months, though. So I'll be unemployed until May, until spring track is over, then I'll find some new summer job.
