Holiday World has posted three videos of their AMAZING new wooden roller coaster, The Voyage. It's long. It's fast. It's intense. It's fast. Geez, I've gotta get myself to Santa Claus, Indiana, because this thing is a beast. If anyone around here gets a chance to ride it, please do tell us all about it.

The videos actually look like they've been sped up, but I'm pretty sure that's actual speed. -

This is clearly about five times as badass as El Toro. Or, probably, almost any wooden coaster ever built. -

My God, that looks so awesome. It's probably the best wooden coaster ever. I wish I could make it out there for the event they're having soon. It's Memorial Day weekend, so I suppose I theoretically could.
So. Awesome. -

Fun enough to kick your ass and make you like it.

I think it looks speeded up going over the top of the lift hill at the beginning, but maybe that's actually how fast it goes :-\ Either way that sidewinder thingy looks very scary. -

Dear god..... that thing looks awesome. its soooooo long.
The speed at which the girls were talking in the video seemed about normal though. so maybe its not sped up.....
but seriously. wow.. -

Fortunately my wife is from there so it shouldn't be too hard to convince her to go. -

I wish the girls in the front car were as cute as their screams....
But 24.2 sec of air time, a top speed of 67.2 mph, a 2 min 45 sec ride time on a 1.2 mile track...
Holy shizznizzle batman. If the videos are that fun, I can hardly imagine the ride itself. -

I always thought it would be extremely fast since I saw the animation of it, but damn!!! Not only the speed is spectacular, but also the insane long ride time and keeping it's speed the track round!
btw, technically this is called a hybrid coaster and not a woodie since the supports are made of steel. Only the track is woodie style (although that is the part that matter though)

Damn, I can't wait to ride this beast. Last time I rode a coaster down at Holiday World a girl got thrown out of the car though. -
