The list time I was at Holiday World, was for an ACE event, at which, a girl was thrown off of The Raven.

Which is why they haven't had any ACE events for a while up until this year. And they renamed it and changed the date. I'd be wary of holding any events for us too, after what happened.

Oh, and I heard from someone who has ridden it. He says the videos don't even do the ride justice, as it's much wilder in the back.

I always thought it would be extremely fast since I saw the animation of it, but damn!!! Not only the speed is spectacular, but also the insane long ride time and keeping it's speed the track round!
btw, technically this is called a hybrid coaster and not a woodie since the supports are made of steel. Only the track is woodie style (although that is the part that matter though )

Nah, coasters are classified by the track, not the structure, so this is definitely a wooden roller coaster. By contrast, Gemini, which has a wooden structure but actual steel tracks, is definitely a steel coaster.

I'm almost 100% positive the onride and reverse angle POV's are at real speed. The off ride footage I'm not sure, only because it looks so incredible, but there's no reason for Holiday park to speed it up, so WHOA still.

Damn, I can't wait to ride this beast.  Last time I rode a coaster down at Holiday World a girl got thrown out of the car though.

What's so hard about that to understand? He can't wait to ride this coaster. The last time he was at Holiday World was when that girl got thrown out of her coaster (because she left the lap bar WAY too high and the ride ops didn't check it) and died. It was at Stark Raven Mad (2003?), if you wanted more information.

By the way, even though the video might be sped up, you can read on HoliBlog that the coaster is actually running slow right now. Train 1's only benn around like 30 times and train 2 less then that. So right now everything is running slower then it will after its broken itself in a bit more. I'm really looking forward to it. The 3 90* banked turns look incredible. Especially where it changes 180* in that one sequence on the turnaround. I'm still skeptical of the 24 seconds of airtime. If you look on the site it says they consider airtime something like under +.07gs (can't really remember). But even still, it'll be immense. Best wooden coaster in years.
