I'm hoping to see it sometime this weekend, although from the reviews I've read its a lot more weaker than their other hits. I'm a huge fan of pixar though, so I'm going to see it regardless of the reviews. -

I bet you it grosses more than $50 million the first weekend. You don't want to see it, It gives no backstory, Has a prefixed plotline, "The car is already fast", Assumes you are stupid, and not much people are going to watch it, Assuming you count the few hundreds that appeared at the world premiere of the movie.

I saw the first showing today. I loved it. But I must say the best part was John Ratzenberger's bit during the credits. -

Obviously, The Hundrerds at the Premier, Which Was Watched By Eagle-Eye-Watch-Hawks, was a Theory. Theoretrically and not real, but in real life it really make sense, You Need To Understand advancded Biometrichemical Theories To see, my life. Check Out our secret lab in Santa Ana. -

Yeah, the teasers come out with the movie preceeding it. The teaser for Ratatouille is shown before Cars. -

Wow, what a totally enjoyable and charming movie! This, along with Over the Hedge, are my favorite films of the year (although this probably edges Dreamwork's very funny animated feature). It's a simple story of a cocky young gun's maturity after meeting some folks he initially considers below him, but it's done to perfection, and is quite touching.
The graphics are amazing, of course, and the comedy is Pixar's usual best. John Lasseter is as close to Walt Disney reincarnated as we're going to get for a long time, anyway. So awesome.
And the end credits were hilarious. Toy Car Story. "YOU!!! ARE!!! A!!! TOY!!! CAR!!!!!!!!" "You are one strange little wagon, and you have my sympathy." And tractor tipping. Awesome. I love the creativity in making them look like cows. I mean, sure, it might be an obvious idea, but the rendering of it was perfect. And the Ratzenberger bit was priceless. This is why Pixar is awesome, and I hope they can bring their mentality on doing things back into and through Disney.
Things are looking good, and Ratatouille is looking even better. An awesome movie! -

Saw it... Loved it.... I just need to go back to see the last 25 minutes or so. Had to take the little one to the car, he didn't quite make it through the entire show! Perhaps a bit too long for the littlest ones. -

You just compared yourself to a 2 1/2 year old.... I'm glad you were able to sit through it though!
