What a nice rec! That's the best work I think I've ever seen from you.

I knew this was a double challenge. I'll explain in a second, but first let me say:

    Super Rich thank you.

    Cork . . . lol

    Rhynos thank you.

    Eman thank you very much.

    Kumba thank you very much.

Phatage thanks but the Empire building is not the only one that needs a facelift.

Vekoma9, after many compromises I settled for the look of the coaster.

Posix, coming from one who usually doesn't like my work I say thank very much. I have riden this coaster several times and only the first time was brutal, after that you know what to prepare for on the ride.

AceFanatic02 thank you. It would be nice to know what you see or don't see.

Steve thank you. Yes I do know it's not "Architecture Tycoon". You should see the buildings I create in SIMCITY3000.

Rollercoaster Freak thank you. The support color was a choice of "lesser evils". All the other colors were very distracting for both supports and track.

Jkay thank you. And yes I'm still lurking.

Todd Lee thank you very much.

Lucas92 thank you very much, and feel free to use anything.

    Tyandor thanks and I agree.

Ling thank you. I merged 2 track types.

    Ge-Ride thank you very much.

It's so hard to be truly objective especially after completing something that dragged you through hot coals with spikes and then dipped you in salt water. However, now that I am somewhat detached from it I think ultimately I would have to agree with Corkscrewed's decision.

We are the hardest ctritics on ourselves. I would have turned this down based mostly on one major thing. The skyline buildings are facing in a diagonal position across the square of the lot. You can see that clearly on the photo. There's also a few parts of the main structure that, well, honestly doesn't exist.

There are a few things I pulled off, but now that it's all said and done, I'm not sure if it was worth all that time to complete it. Anyway thank you everyone for taking the time to respond.

Great recreation, I always love to see recreations, and this is no exception.

I didn't find Manhatten Express that rough or painful when I was riding it. I've definately experienced worse!
  • Ling%s's Photo
ha! only thing that's worse than Manhatten Express is the loop on California Screamin'

I loved the ride in real life, and I loved the recreation. Good job. :batman:

I just gave this a quick run through. Very nice stuff as all Beejer. The architecture was great man. The detail you put in everything from the skyline to the facades is wonderful. The coaster is good and i understand your struggle with RCT2's lack of elements. Still it looks extremely painful. Nice work though Design worthy in my book but Corky has a strong arguement

....i find nothing at all wrong with Screamin's loop... :| ..in fact it's smoother than most everything i've ridden.

Please excuse Ling's idiocy and return to acknowledging the excellence of Beejer's creation good sir.

fuck off, eman, what's your problem with me?

yeah, it's a nice rec but I didn't like the ride. People are entitled to their opinions, believe it or not
  • eman%s's Photo
My problem with you....well aside from the fact you post in every damn topic on these forums, I'd say my problem with you is the fact that you said the loop on California Screamin' is worse than Manhattan Express. I mean, there's rediculous statements, completely wrong statements, and then about 5,183,184,583,294,109 steps further down the ladder, there's saying CS is rougher than ME.
  • Ling%s's Photo
sorry, but last time I rode California Screamin' (about a year ago) the loop was really rough. The rest of the ride was smooth, but the loop banged my head against the restraints. Manhatten Express was overall pretty rough, but not as rough. Maybe I got a bad train, or they've redone the ride since. That's just what happened.

Oh, and you're gonna have tore- check some topics, 'cos I haven't posted in too many
  • tracidEdge%s's Photo
what's wrong with posted in every thread. if you've got something to say about the topic, why not?
  • eman%s's Photo
It's fine if it actually adds to the topic...
And hey, I was tired and under AN influence ;) , so cut me some slack. But seriosuly, how the fuck can you say the loop on CS was rougher than ME. The damn lift on ME is rougher than any part of CS.
