If you were wondering the reason I'm into Premiership football is because of all the Portugies where I live,

Oh yeah, if you're looking at Superliga, everyone goes for Benfica here too. And I am half Portuguese myself.

One of my mates at school is Portuguese, and he is a Benfica fan. But a Portuguese kid in an English school is not a good idea, especially after the Euro's and the last world cup. Hence someone spray painted 'CHEAT' on the side of his car after the quarter-final match. He deserved it though, hes a bastardface.

hmm... that might, just might have something to do with the fact that 99% of people at this site are American? Anyway- on a serious note now, if your not going to join, or just rant on about how much you don't like 'commie-ball' or whatever the fuck you call it over there, can u plz not post in this topic? I just want to keep this topic for participants only if thats okay. Cos nobody has posted in yours about bullshit/how much american football sucks, and i just dont think its fair that its somehow okay to do it in ours, Rick.

Point taken. I should say, however, that I personally don't have anything against soccer. I have friends that follow it quite closely and we are always having a little fun with the football/american football thing. I guess I was just trying to have some of the same fun here. So apologies. Didn't mean to offend anyone.
