Poker is like sexual intercourse. Sometimes you get lucky, but sometimes you have to shell out a few bucks for a long night of fun. It all depends on the cards you've been dealt. Naturally, it is important to keep your hands in plain sight during both activities. STD's are like money. Whoever has the most gets lucky the most often, if you know what I mean. Then, once you get your winnings you're kind of like a female stripper in a weird way because you get fifty bucks and blow them all in one night.

The McEvoy hand wasn't anything special though. Your call out of the big blind with 22 to a 3x BB late position raise is standard. You flopped a set and he flopped top pair top kicker. It doesn't matter how good you are or how bad he is or if he's a world champion, you automatically make a lot of money on this hand. You didn't even bet the river!

In an online mini he played as a demo right before he was folding A10, KQ, KJ hands most people play, so on the first and of this big tournament I assumed he had a really big hand, maybe a set of queens, so I figured on the river I had enough money in there.

All those hands are pretty much instant throwaway hands early position at a 9/10 handed maybe even 8 handed table.

Damn im good at poker... At my local cardroom where they have daily multi table tournaments for a $45 buy-in and get from 45-60 players a day I have made 3 final tables in a row finishing 5th, 8th and 5th again. Last night I played in a single table tournament and won that bitch and made $245 in like 2 hours of poker. If I keep this up maybe NE can have cash contests again
