Rules:
NO live albums, unless they're entirely composed of work that's never been released from a studio version.
NO "greatest hits" or "best of" collections; any band can create 12 decent songs over their entire career
That's about it really.
Mine ATM:
26- Return to Cookie Mountain by TV on the Radio
25- Whatever People Say We Are... by the Arctic Monkeys
24- Hail to the Thief by Radiohead
23- Good News for People Who Love Bad News by Modest Mouse
22- Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd
21- Neon Bible by Arcade Fire
20- Grace by Jeff Buckley
19- Urban Hymns by The Verve
18- Black Sheep Boy by Okkervil River
17- The Bends by Radiohead
16- The Lonesome Crowded West by Modest Mouse
15- Animals by Pink Floyd
14- Origin of Symmetry by Muse
13- Crooked Rain Crooked Rain by Pavement
12- Songs for a Blue Guitar by Red House Painters
11- Z by My Morning Jacket
10- Silent Alarm by Bloc Party
9- Chutes Too Narrow by The Shins
8- Loveless by My Bloody Valentine
7- Kid A by Radiohead
6- The Soft Bulletin by The Flaming Lips
5- Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd
4- Emergency And I by The Dismemberment Plan
3- Funeral by Arcade Fire
2- The Moon And Antarctica by Modest Mouse
1- OK Computer by Radiohead
Remember that's "at the moment" and forever in a state of flux. There's a good chance I'll be coming home with Battles debut, along with some Wilco, Pixies and Okkervil River tomorrow, not that I'll edit my list for at least another couple months.

Hey, has anyone heard the new Okkervil River? I'd like to know what the NE consensus is...the general critical consensus is positive, so I'm wondering what you all think.
They're coming to town soon but for a 21+ show. Man, with that show and with the Flaming Lips' free show this Saturday also being 21+, I'm pretty ticked off.
Ah well. I have Wilco in a week. =D -

^I'll probably be picking up the new Okkervil River tomorrow so I'll be sure to drop a line or two about it in the coming week or so. I'm expecting good but not terribly mind-blowing things.

i don't really 'get' vu&nico. it sounds like they were trying to be cool, it's a bit annoying, and you can tell some parts are out of tune (and not on purpose). -
