The park does not want me to release to many updates before the first year of operation. Yes the first year of operation is coming and will be available for download.

The park has given me pictures that they do want me to show.

again looking interesting, again no texturing, again too many screens.
why don't you adapt a way of updating your topic in a more refined manner? like, for example, show screens that show only nearly 100% finished spots and that are big enough to make out what your park is all about but not so big that it looks you just happened to take them in that size when what you wanted to show only just about fills one third of the screen.
also, you post too many screens. the scrollbar handle on the right has become rather tiny for me. always gives you the idea "the guy is just dumping screens for no reason ..."

    in other words,
give your advertising more ground, basis and life. you try to do that already by incorporating a story about the park management and stuff, but to be honest, it appears to be kind of done for the mere sake of it, which makes it rather half-assed.

Also learn how to use colors.

year, well, that's actually what he can do good at already.

I like the look of the coasters and the way you have them interact with everything else. Sure nothing else seems that well developed but this is Roller Coaster Tycoon, not architect tycoon or even amusement park tycoon.

Colors are a little drab in the entrance and 'western' areas. Be careful about that. The colors around the Beemer on the other hand are fantastic, so you definitely possess the ability in that area when you take the time to re-evaluate your own work. Excellent job on that...

Thanks guys. I really am appreciating all the suggestions. I'm working with the colors some what. This is going to be the last big update for awhile becuase I do feel the way you said I should show this park is better. All previous posts I will edit so It's just links, so scrolling wont be so hard.

    Year 1 update.

Note: This will be the last major update for awhile. Does not mean I will be slowing down work this is just the parks new method of advertising. But on a upper hand this is the biggest update yet!

To start off the park has been holding back pictures of the several coasters they've been adding. (Yes I said Several) The reason for this the park wanted to be able to show pictures for the first year of operation, which is up for download now.

One of the new roller coasters is a Schwarzkopf, named Glory.

The second one is a Vekoma Mine Train, named off the rails.

Also several new attractions have been added, and construction for next year has started along with a sketch of the new big attraction. It's rumored to be the second most expensive coaster in the park, next to "The Fury".

There really is a lot more planned to be done with the rest of the space. Rumor is that the park is also planning on redoing they're website to a more detailed break down. Maybe categorize by sections of the park. Instead of just listing them on one page. A suggestions page, and much more. What do you guys think of that.

Now what everyone has been waiting for, pictures.

    Glory:

The station for glory, a basic layout but it really does look nice, doesn't it.
    Posted Image
The layout, simple but thrilling. Also great for roller coaster enthusiasts that love, Schwarzkopf.

    Off The Rails:

The first lift as the train loses all control.
    Posted Image
Most of the rides layout. The park in later years plans on adding more trees, and scenery. It was rushed to open along with other attractions for the opening year.

    Old Country Road Trip:

    Some of the roads.
    Posted Image
The station and more of the layout.

    The Fury:
The new color and the final version.
    Posted Image

    Timber Terror:
    Posted Image
The final product of the station for "Timber Terror".

    Overview for Year One:
    Posted Image
An overview of year one, as you can see on this section alone there's room for expansion.

Also last but not least, concept art for the new ride for year two. This is how must updates will be from hear on out, except for the occasional big updates.

    Posted Image
Some concept art for what's to come in year 2! Which is rumored to be the second most expensive attraction in the park, "The Fury" is the most of course.

Hope you enjoyed this huge update.

I don't know why that cellophane photshop filter exists. please never use it again.

You've got a nice style developing. This looks to be turning into a fun little park.

You ruined the wooden coaster's station with overtreeing. But Glory's station is OK, just a little too much red. Otherwise, your colors and archy is sort of bland.
  • BRTeller%s's Photo
Your saying take out some trees and maybe put flowers, bushes, etc. just double checking. I promise guys I will not use that filter again, a few people said how much they hated it. I was probably tired when I made it.

Wow the park has released another image of the area to come. It's just a artistic image but it really look like a sweet classic Intamin drop ride.

The park is really getting the job done, and done fast. Looks like they want this to end up being a world class park.

    Looks cool, huh?

    yes.

    Thanks!

The name has been released for the previous image. The official name is, Crazy House Hotel. It's going along with the wacky theme that is starting to arise in that part of the park.

Here are some facts about the coaster.

Are you ready to journey through the wackiest hotel around? It features surprises left and right and half the time you don't know where your at. Be careful when you climb a elevator at a other dimensional hotel.

    Posted Image
Soon actual images will be posted and no more of these artistic things. ;)

    Posted Image
Construction, track, and supports. Have started and are arriving.

Next update will be soon, yeah easter vacation. So that means a little bit of extra time to work on the park.

My goal is to get some sort of hotel or resort made.

    -Brandon

umm yeah if your going for realism take the coaster out of the hotel
guests dont like to hear a coaster going threw thier rooms are be awaked by them
  • Ling%s's Photo
The hotel is built for the coaster. Guests do not actually stay in it.
I hope I'm not responding to massive sarcasm 'cos then I'll feel really dumb.

Doesn't matter, people really have thought that anyways, weather it was sarcasm or not. It's just a honest mistake either way.

I do plan on adding a real hotel though soon.

I dont like your tree selection, or how the water under your minetrain is the same height as the land there. Also the editing youve done to your last few pictures is annoying, but other than that, your park is coming along nicely.
  • BRTeller%s's Photo
Thanks, I'm tweaking the water, it originally was for a river rapids. But thats for later years now. Don't worry I'm done editing for a little bit, with the filters at least.

Year two is right around the corner. The official attraction being added for year two is just a intamin drop tower, name "The Ruins". It's sponsored by the upcoming movie. As for the Mad House Hotel, Plummet, Chaotic, those are all for an upcoming year. Those are a huge expansion to the park and may take a couple years. The main part of the park till then will be getting expansions, updates, and more.

Now Rumor time, the park may being sold to a huge company, Six Flags, Busch, Universal, Cedar Fair. No information what the park may be sold to. Or possibly may partner with another company. This is just a family owned park, and the owners are rumored to be having trouble maintaining it.

Heres the picture for the new ride.

Another update will be soon, for year two!

I like how the water drops down into the pit like that, but the Hiba tree is really out-of-place down there, and the water needs to go somewhere. The Intamin drop ride is nice, I actually like the building despite its awkward dimensions, but don't say it's sponsored by the movie 'cos that screen doesn't reflect it in the slightest. The foliage on the right there (all the quarter-tile bits in the fenced-in area) looks random and out-of-place, also a bit too dense for the space. Finally, just a nitpick, but why do you have grey flames?
  • BRTeller%s's Photo
Thanks for the suggestions. The reason its grey flames, is becuase its the only color I have, lol. Also about the movie, its kind of a plan for the future, that will go with the parks story line.
