Sorry for the few year delays, but the park hasn't added anything since Cavern Blaster. The hotel is still finishing up after all this time!!! But I just take the pictures, and report whats going on to you guys. So this leaves us at Season 17 with a new coaster named Stealth.

I don't like that layout, seems very unrealistic... I've seen much better out of you
  • Liampie%s's Photo
The coaster is not totally bad... Except when you're going for realism. In that case I'd delete the whole thing.

I like the interaction between the coaster and monorail. :)

I love the layout personally. Very innovative.

I like it too, I say screw realism! At times it's over rated around here anyway.

Moreover, again, I find the colour combination to be absolutely brilliant and equipped with an elegant appeal that usually only rctll is capable of delivering. I really am looking forward to seeing this park finished.

Thanks guys, sorry I didn't get back to your posts sooner. Anyways, I do have an update.

I know I slack terribly at all my updates, but this update will be slightly differen't from all my other ones. I'm going to categorize this one as a "Construction Update". Pretty much an update to represent all the stuff thats being constructed, or nearly finished. Or it's done, but other updates come first I'm lazy enough. So I'm going to show that I'm not just bluffing when I'm saying I am working on it still, and actually a lot has changed. I'll also leave some teasers for the future.

    Anyways, hope you all enjoy.

I'm looking for some advice, and criticism with just about all of it. Not a single thing shown is finished, and I've been finding myself constantly changing my work lately to keep up to par with other ares of the park.

    Thanks,

Looks good, but I am not a fan of your building style.
It looks very chaotic and hasnt a real structure, imo.

    Keep on building! :)

Thanks for the response. As I was posting these screens I did notice what you mean. I think that's probably one of the biggest things to work on. Maybe looking at more real buildings might help, since I base everything I've done purely off of imagination.

I base everything I've done purely off of imagination.

i think that shows very positively in your screens. i've always liked them.

i just think sometimes you get swept away and build too outrageously. as in, huge buildings or too tall coasters, combined with overdone terrain height variations.

your imagination is good and you should always cling to it when building, but i would suggest to give it some more direction and meaning. when you see something in your head, think about not only what it looks like but more importantly why it looks that way.

e.g., a building for restrooms can be small. however, an indoor coaster needs a huge hall. to not lose this focus when building, some people try to first think of the interiors of buildings and then the shell (walls and rooves). try it out.

the same goes for landscaping. if there's a forest, there must be many trees. if there's a ground that the park just bought and cleared to build a new ride, it must be bare and empty, etc.

that's what i meant with 'direction'.

i got like six malware detection warnings from this page.
  • BRTeller%s's Photo
Thanks for the advice, and I see where your coming from completely.

Zodiac, my site is currently listed like that under Google, but thats only because google has it listed that way. The pictures are virus free, and your probably getting that from firefox, or maybe safari.

If anyone else has a serious problem with it, I'll just use a different picture host rather than my own. But I haven't had any problems or anyone say anything in till now.

But they do not have viruses. I'll use a different host from now on, since I assume the warnings alone are annoying.

EDIT: I just added a few more scenery items that I think I needed to enhance my building skills. So hopefully I can add more details to the buildings, and have the pieces I need to do so. I'm enhancing my older buildings a bit, rather than completely knocking them down, even though I've wiped out about 3 or 4 beyond repair.

I hope you guys will notice a difference, and I'll try to have a update in a day or so. Possibly just a dump place update.

Here's an update to what I've been improving. I think it's actually starting to look decent, what do you guys think?

You improve with every screen you post. That is a really nice screen. Maybe add a couple more of those balconies and you've got yourself a winner.

I also like how you always take what people say into account.
  • Luketh%s's Photo
That looks a lot better than the first one...

The windows in the last screen seem way too repetitive, but I love your supporting, and everything else seems good.

Here's the final version of Epic Adventures. Well the final for now. I do plan on MAYBE finishing up what I didn't finish before, and complete the map. This is the park that taught me just about everything I know. I worked for about 2 years straight on it, constantly changing it, and updating old stuff. So this park is very special to me in a sense. You'll notice a lot of unfinished stuff towards it, and lots of old and new style things. For now the project is dormant, the future of it is undecided.

The most recent project I was working on. This is what got me started on the Mamba rollercoaster in LOE.
