Thankyou inVersed. I thought no one would ever mention X250's Masterpiece.
It was so hard to get a top 10. The top 3/4 were fine, it's just the further down you go the harder it get's to establish. So many parks could have made into my Top 10, oh and I've added in my Top 10 RCT2 & LL Players.

Really?!! Haha wow thanks!
As for me, RoB and Watkins Woods obviously rank very highly. 5dave's Canthose Valley is pretty epic, too. And I really like Metro's Boscastle Heights. -

WTF??? Thanks dude
Oh and Gee, it was a toss up between Dave & RRP for the 10th spot and Dave just got it, they would have been equally placed. As I said the further down the list the harder it gets to place.
You end up forgetting so many parks aswell, like Tierra Aventura, Paradise Island and a bunch of the older LL H2H parks like Khalma Cove. -

My favorite RCT2 parks of all time (I have LL, but have never figured out how to dl parks lol):
1. Busch Gardens Sydney:
This is pretty much the hands down winner for me, and is as close to perfect as I have ever seen an RCT2 park. The coasters are all stunningly good; I view each of them (the accelerator, B&M invert, and GCI racer) as the best of their types ever in RCT. Denali might be the greatest coaster ever created in RCT. Layout-wise, I think dlhand gave it a run for its money with his Mounty invert, but nothing beats the atmosphere of this thing: the placement of elements, the station, the lift detail--it's all incredible. The rest of the park is just a masterpiece. I find it funny that latley in the "little things" thread, people are going through their own work to point out the little things viewers might have missed. I've spent hours and hours looking through this park, and every time I find something new. I don't need someone else to do it for me, because Phatage does it so well.
2. Six Flags Worlds of Excitement
Probably the only thing even close to BGS. This park is just so much fun to look through, and in appearence and function, comes off as one of the most realistic parks ever created. The thing I've always thought was great about this park was the scale. When most parkmakers build a 200+ foot hypercoaster, it looks out of place. Phatage makes it look like it really belongs there. Giant is without a doubt the greatest "big coaster" ever built, in my opinion. He totally nailed it, from the supports to the layout to the interaction with the rapids ride. The rest of the park is just so believable, as well. The coaster types are well chosen, the clones are all there (greatest BTR clone, I'd say), and you've even got the extras, such as the challenge park, water park, and roadway.
3. Belmont Shores:
This one just took things to a new level. I remember when I opened it when it was completed for the first time and saw the bikes, I literally laughed out loud to myself. This is one of those rare parks that, from the overview, looks a bit boring, but as you begin to watch it more and more, you start to feel like you're actually there. Then you've got the custom music: Good Vibrations and Misirlou, which were perfect choices and add so much to the atmosphere. And then the outside area of the park! K0NG and gee made a masterpiece with this.
4. Watkin's Woods:
Basically, this one has everything you could ask for in a realistic park, and I always thought it was funny how it really screamed Cedar Fair. Everything is concrete, the rides are pretty generic, and the architecture is perfectly fitting for this type of park. The interiors of the buildings are fantastic as well. One thing I always found to be a low point in this park, though, is that some of the costers seem a bit lackluster, and get boring after you watch them go once or twice. Nevertheless, WW was the culmination of the short-lived "less is more," realistic fad (I kind of associate this with a lot of heavily used ideas such as custom queues, maitenance areas, etc.). It took other parks in that "genre," such as Harkview Heights and Kayte Ridge, and combined them together to make one awesome park.
5. Magic Realms Resort:
From the moment I first saw this, I knew it would one day become a spotlight. I worked with eyeamthu1 in the RCPro Summer Showdown a few years back, and I can honestly say I've never had more fun working with someone. He has great ideas, and an imagination and creativity for this game that I still think is unrivaled. This whole park is an example of that. I feel like eyeamthu1 looks at the blank map and kind of just says..."this is what I want to do," and he does it, no matter what. He never gets bored or loses inspiration, and he never lets things hold him back. He gets ideas or visions in his head and creates them in-game exactly how they were meant to be. That's why I feel this park is so great; it's a vision, totally unobscured by the limitations of this game. I remember a specific instance where I was doing some testing of the park pre-release, and Alex asked me to give him some thoughts. I told him I wasn't too sure about the large grassy area in the front of the park, but he was persistent, explaining how he imagined it being in real life, and why he wanted it in the park. This park is really something else...a true work of art that really looks like nothing else ever built in this game.
6. Premier Amusement Park:
This one created such a big stir when it came out, both positive and negative. Looking back on it, it's a little over the top and extravegant, but it influenced me like no other piece of RCT work ever has. As of now, Paramount's Xtreme is my only full-scale solo to date (hopefully not for too long lol), and it is just swimming in Premier Amusement Park inspiration. I especially loved the accelerator in this park. Never seen anyone attempt anything like this again, which is a shame.
7. Lenox Mall:
Lenox Mall was incredible, from the subway station to the immense Nubuloicty coaster. All the shops were done perfectly. The whole thing kind of just made you say "wow." I would have loved to see this as a full scale park though, with things like movie theaters and aquariums...would have made this even more awesome, if that's possible.
8. Dimensions: Realms of Creation:
This may come as a surprise, given the realistic trend showm by the rest of my list, but I really love this park for the pure fun factor. At first, I remember writing a review in which I described this as "not my cup of tea." I still stand by that, but that doesn't make the park any less enjoyable. Who cares if it could never happen in real life. I get enough enjoyment out of the dude who stands in the middle of the maze and asks for the password. Really, like nobody wouldn't just beat the shit out of that guy to get to the end lol.
9. The Materpiece:
Meh, this is another one that barely qualifies as realistic, but I'll let is slide because I could see this as a Tussauds park or something. I remember this being the first ever park I ever downloaded, and man was I blown away at the time. I thought that as time went on, I'd eventually think less and less of this park, but that hasn't been the case at all. It's still just as inspiring as it was the first time. And that park entrance! That's gotta be the best one ever made, I think. Lol and the suspended coaster lasts for like three minutes. What a ride that is.
10. Rocky Mountain Mystique:
Same category as the Masterpiece. I first looked at this one a long way back, and again, was totally blown away. I still think it has to be the most intricate park ever made. Almost every tile is covered! You can't even see rides half the time because of how covered they are from every angle. That ghost car hack is still one of my favorites, and the Pike's Peak go kart track is to me, the best go kart ride ever made in RCT, and is a blast to watch.
Well, hope that wasn't too long lol. Not even gonna bother with parkmakers and designs. -
