(Archive) Advertising District / Six Flags Carolina

Well, I guess it's about time to advertise.
I'll explain more as I go along, but the park is based on Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom and Darien Lake.











There's no expected release date right now, but it's probably past 50%. It just depends how long it'll take to hit the object limit. Once I finish the park, there's plenty of room outside for expansion. Some will be blacked out, but to get an idea of the size, here is the map (200x200 squares).

Please tell me it's in Raleigh, this city needs to grow! Everything looks fantastic though, and the scale of this is truly impressive.

Mind Eraser? It looks epic.

The rest of the screens are great as well. Can already tell its a clear step up from Watkins Woods.

I'd love to see a Ride of Steel from you. This is great work, still.

How many coasters are you planning on?

I really like the idea of wooden coaster track under the log flume. It's a nice change from the cliche bobsled track everyone uses.

Loving that water slide, its a lot like something im planning...

I love the screens, but I think you should use other footers for the SLC. BTW, I'm glad you're not going for a square map. Square maps are the biggest cliche on this site, it really isn't necessary!

''Six Flags Carolina? Whoopdiedoo!'' That's what I first thought when seeing the name of the park, never expecting it was yours.

Although I hate seeing just another Six Flags(/Disney) interpretation, I like the screens very much.

Yeah, this will be on of those epic parks on this site, please don't stop building anytime soon Brian, your stuff is too good!
I agree with Liampie on the footers of the invert though, while the blocks are realistic I think they can be a bit more aesthetically pleasing.. Maybe another texture looks better, don't know.. Oh, and I always hate that skeeball custom object, why not creating one yourself with small deco scenery?
Love the look of the slide and the flume!

Oh, and show those screens of the woodie, karts and that custom flat with those bobsled cars!

Peeps! They will add so much to your atmosphere in-game.
I love the look of the first screen. It's so simple but it really works. The rest of the screens is also great, like they always are.

1 - The supports in this are fantastic, totally gives off the messy feeling Vekoma supports have.

2 - The screen is so charming and the use of trackitecture under the flume is superb.

3 - The architecture is so simple, yet so refreshing. This area looks beautiful and the fountain is brilliant.

4 - The bowl looks a little messy but that cant really be helped. I don't think i've ever seen a bowl slide without a hole in the bottom so this is interesting.

I have been dying to see screens of this park... and you finally deliver! The screens don't disappoint but I am sure you are saving the best stuff for later. Onee thing I will say is that I am disappointed you chose to base this off of SFKK and DL. I really would have liked to have seen you base it on one of the more coaster heavy SF parks like SFoG, SFGAdv or SFMM. I already notice you built a Mind Eraser-esque SLC so does that eliminate the possibility of having a Batman- The Ride?

Like inVersed said, I too prefer the coaster filled parks like SFGAdv, SFMM, SFoT, and SFoG, but this works as well. Other than that, you know my thoughts.

All awesome. I know how much thought you put into your work and from these screens I know each one is executed to perfection. My mouth dropped when I saw the SLC just amazing.

This is not only a step up from Watkins but most propebly the most realistic solo we'll see. I cannot wait.

I think I spotted a big B&M recreation on the overview.
