^Although that depends. If the ride addition was new then the grass wouldn't be overgrown and would be nicely kept, if the coaster had been standing for a couple of years then yes the foliage and grass would be overgrown.
But then we are just getting into extreme realism here -

Well the fact that an slc has been put into a six flags park in awhile...^Although that depends. If the ride addition was new then the grass wouldn't be overgrown and would be nicely kept, if the coaster had been standing for a couple of years then yes the foliage and grass would be overgrown.
But then we are just getting into extreme realism here -

What do people see in this that I don't? It's pleasant but I don't see anything I think is groundbreaking. -

Mind Eraser was a new addition to Six Flags Carolina for the 1997 season as part of a package deal with Vekoma that provided SLCs to SF Elitch Gardens, SF New England, and SF Darien Lake as well. The weeds have overgrown quite a bit as SFC's way of "natural theming" due to an initial budget that didn't include any theming aside from a station. -

That's how I feel as well. I like it, but it's not giving me the same reaction it is other people. What do people see in this that I don't? It's pleasant but I don't see anything I think is groundbreaking.

Oh shit, it's him again. just when things were getting pleasantBoring, uninteresting, with things thrown everywhere to give the impression that time was taken but looks like shit.
It's a Six Flags park for sure.
anyway, i have to say CP6 that while nothing really stands out or looks mind-blowing to me, it all looks very realistic, well-refined, and detailed. i'm sure that's what you were going for, so good job. -

Park I enjoy STAND OUT and are MIND BLOWING, realistic or not.
The fact is, is that this park is realistic...and that's just about it. -

So you're saying that you don't find all the little details MIND BLOWING?
Also, CP6, will you be doing stuff on the inside of the buildings, or will that be too much? -

Yup that's exactly what I am saying. Sure the little things are NICE. But it takes BIG THINGS to be MIND BLOWING. In my opinion -

In my opinion also. As pleasant as those screens are, I can't really point out anything that is overly impressive or anything. Not bad, but not as good as people make it seem -

Ignorance? I think not. We all see different things in parks and I don't see anything "interesting" in this park. But pictures can be decieving so I look forward to seeing the finished park. -

Perhaps you should show something interesting first Level before commenting on the "interesting-ness" (yeah, I said it) of other people's parks.
Love the stuff you posted in Fiesta, CP6. -

Though it isn't anything I havn't seen before, its awesome. I am not that excited though at the moment, because I usually enjoy parks that have unique themes or rides ect. It'll just seem like any normal park. Here's what I would rate it.
-Unique Ideas-No
-Good Ride Design-Yes
-Beautiful Scenery-Yes
-Good Lanscaping-Yes
-Realistic(Or good themed for fantasy parks)-Yes
-Mind Blowing-No
-Good Detail-Yes
If I were an accolade panelist, I would rate it a gold, It just doesn't pack as much "punch" as a spotlight. Zippo's Wacky World of Wonders had all of these, except for how it wasn't mind blowing, but the good landscaping and unique ride ideas (the haggis hunt coaster) gave it a gold. If I compare it with a gold, The Island, well the island is very mind blowing, and it has very good theming and detail. The ride designs were so-so (the layouts were kinda mediocre), but what brought it down was for one: the rides didn't even have a name, and two: the landscaping was too complex, making it look kinda ugly. It was a great park, infact possibly one of the most mind blowing on the site. The park is looking good so far, but I think most people want to see something amazing, a good example is the colossal architechture that RCTNW made in marriots or the insane detail and hacking kumba made in DRC, In your watkins woods park, the x-car coaster was a great idea at the time and with all the realism, I still look at that park today. You havn't showed much screens yet, but this park is looking like a gold. -

I still find it funny that people are considering "large structures" and insane hacking something mind-blowing. Take a look at old LL parks. They don't rely on hacking or large structures, just detail and beauty. They're mindblowing. Take a look at something like Zippos. It doesn't have insane hacks or giant structures, just clever use of RCT scenery to make something pretty. For all of you who wouldn't find smaller detail, elegance, and clarity mind-blowing, take a look at RRP's Sea World Atlanta. Yes, there's some great hacks, but what makes it #2 on the list is its beauty and use of tools given. SFC is just that. It's mind-blowing in its accuracy, elegance, precision, and general beauty. Size doesn't matter people, and you don't need a bunch of bells and whistles for something to be jaw-dropping. What makes a park is its beauty and execution, and here, SFC is amazing.
Brian, this park is great!
