It is strange, I never think of this kind of stuff when I am working on a park and I have always told myself that it doesn't matter much to me what everyone else says. I guess I got that way because I have always had peeps who hated my stuff and bitched and moaned about in the forums whenever someone posted something nice. It is a futile effort to try and please everyone. I don't think it can be done. On the other hand, who can deny that even small fame feels great for we are all cursed with an evil ego. I don't think anyone can spend shitloads of time building parks and then nobody sees their creations. How do you move on? Your creation must be born. NE is where we give birth to our creations. I think what we create is meant to be seen and interpreted but not defined. On the other hand, it has been a sweet ride getting all of this recognition lately. It does feel good. Really, really, quite fucking good. So thanks Iris(Corky and Ed too if you guys had a part in this) for raising the bar for me and my career in RCT. I have to literally out do myself in the future. Thanks also to Iris and Toon and Pyro for those 23's and the 22! I am torn with emotion that RCT3 is coming out as I have way more to do with RCT2. However, from the looks of it, I just might be moving on to RCT3 as will many others I'm sure. I am sure you will still see something from me in RCT2 in the not so far off future because I am always working on something.

To suppose that the eye could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree.

"Strange" doesn't even scratch the surface.
FantastiCo is one of the very few people that I won't ask "dude, where do you get your shit from?" -

I think because it's absurd that humans could have been surviving without the ability to see what they're growing from and into.
Could also be because the difference between sight and sight is so incredibly big that it's absurd to think that humans saw our planet in a different way.
idk, what charles' argumentation on that quote was though. -

Actually, it's a quote used way out of context by stubborn Christians to argue against the theory of evolution. Darwin uses the eye as an example of why evolution is so succesful. -

I believe the stubborn people are those whom refuse to believe there is consequence to sin. If evolution is true, Hitler has it made.

- George Gallup, statisticianI could prove God statistically. Take the human body alone. The chance that all the functions of the individual would just happen is a statistical monstrosity.
We Christians are not stubborn. We know the difference between wrong and right and have been filled with a certain faith of God and God's laws by the Lord himself. You just suppress in your mind what God has made known of himself (through nature) in order to remain in your own sin. Though no one is perfect, and I certainly am not, but I believe in the son of God, Christ Jesus as my only salvation considering I cannot enter Heaven through my own works; since I am not perfect, and God hates sin. I simply trust in the work of Jesus, who was tempted as everyone has been tempted, yet is without sin. Now, through the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, I continue to grow as a Christian, becoming more and more Christ-like. If you want verses proving these statements I'll give them to you. But you'd probably rather believe in man, than GOD.
One more thing...
to think the fact that you have focusing muscles in your eyes which move an estimated 100,000 times each day, and that same eye has within it a retina that covers less than a square inch and contains 137,000,000 light-sensitive cells.. to say this is not intelligent design and simply develops from some primordial soup is indeed.. absurd. -

you under estimate how long this has been developing. millions and millions and millions of years. this doesn't just "happen".
let's just take your logic and turn it on you. what kind of dumbshit god wires the entertainment complex right fucking next to the sewage plant?
any engineer, hell, any five year old will tell you THAT is absurd. -

Can you take your cult-like bullshit someplace else, please? This has nothing to do with Christianity. -

Yeah, a worm turning into a man is absurd until you add the millions and millions and millions of years then it suddenly it makes sense?Speak for yourself. I call myself a Christian but I certainly don't believe the same things you do.
Then what in the world do you believe? I believe in the full Bible as the authoritative word of God.Can you take your cult-like bullshit someplace else, please? This has nothing to do with Christianity.
I never attacked you, simply debated, yet you attack me. And this has everything to do with Christianity. As for "cult-like bullshit" it seems you have no idea what an actual 'cult' is. Please don't attack me. I meant no harm to you. -

Actually, around 3.8 billion years, single celled organisms appeard. Imagine that within every couple of generations a mutation occurs, and after many mutations, a new subspecies is formed. Remember that it wasn't until 1.8 billion years when the first eukaryotic cells formed. Evolution is a slow process that speeds up gradually. Keep in mind also that fully modern humans have been around for only about 50,000 years. Basically, we have been around for only 1/76,000 of the entire span of life on earth. Evolution doesn't suddenly happen. -

Playing the Hitler card isn't debating.
And yes, when you argue like a Jehovah's Witness, you'll be treated like those cultists, too. -

Now can we get back to the point of the topic? Create a seperate thread if you'd like to continue the evolution argument. Thanks. -

Who else preferred FantastiCo when he was into substance abuse as opposed to this "Jesus phase" of his now? Though I would assume the transition out of drugs is responsible for this, because he is sounding much like my last roommate who became like this after giving up a lifestyle of heavy drinking. It's as if the substances were keeping them "normal".
As for posts, recently, gee's post about how he perfected a Raptor layout without showing any of his was a good one. Also, K0NG's response of "Yes, you can" to a thread by rct2isboss saying he couldn't remove ghost objects, gave me a good laugh. The response to that showed just how poorly worded the topic was.
