CD5Productions will return in May of 2010 with a chilling thriller entitled "Backwards."
The film will revolve around an FBI agent who goes face-to-face with a terrorist threatening to detonate a bomb on a subway train carrying the agent's wife and daughter. The film will be one of CD5's darkest to date.

Filming is currently underway and should wrap in early May.

Backwards now has a release date!
Backwards will be released on May 31, 2010. The film is nearing completion and the upcoming weeks will allow for tweaking, voice work, and other minor details of post-production. I expect the movie to be around 15 minutes long - this movie hits the ground running and doesn't stop until the credits roll.
The suspenseful twists and turns of the movie will likely keep you on the edge of your seat. -

First off, job well done. This story kept me watching.
I thought the pacing of the story was smooth. I like the fact that the "twist" turned it into a psychological thriller. Character introductions and the defining of each character was done really well. However, I'm still not sure how his daughter survived. There wasnt much explanation of who the other woman was either.
As far as the technical side of things... I really like the effect of having the subway run through the camera, seeing into each train as it passes by. Your sound mixing keeps getting better with each project. Catching peeps in certain movements was done quite well also. The biggest technical aspect that I can comment on is some of the transitions from one scene to the next. Keeping the flow in a movie is very very important. An abrupt scene transition can kill the mood if you're not careful. Nothing too serious in this movie though... And, of course, voices. I've enjoyed all your movies, but having to read subtitles in any movie can be distracting from the story. If you can recruit some voice over volunteers next time, I think you give yourself another option to help intensify the drama and character build-up.
These are just some things I thought about while watching it. Overall, I really liked it and it shows that you put alot of time and effort into it. Very good job!!! (I assume you've already planned a sequal?) Any word on the next project, whatever it may be? -

^ Thanks, Marlin. Right now Saw:Redemption is my only film in the works.
I'd love to have more voices in my movie, but unfortunately I'm very picky with who I want to voice the characters and there aren't many out there who have the proper voice or equipment. I'll keep looking, though. -

Absolutely nothing wrong with being picky.. Actually, thats the best answer I could imagine. Having the right voice will make all the difference for the character. Don't ever settle!
No response on a sequel? -

you should do a movie about a roller coaster crash like final destination 3! But with your abilities, you can make it more realistic than FD3^ Right now, there are no concrete plans for a sequel.
