    - No posting until BOTH battles are posted. Feedback can wait till after both are up and if it is posted before then it will be deleted.

    - Winner moves on to the semi-finals where they will face the winner of the Fish vs JDP match-up.

    @InVersed: Wow. There's some really clever lines in there, especially the whole "Jag vs Bentley" line and the different uses of "cock and blow."

    @Jag: You put up a decent fight, but InVersed is the #1 seed in this for a reason.

    IDK, Wanted, I mean I feel like I had enough variation considering I through in a fair share of interior rhymes. Remember/december/dismembers/members; grab cock and blow/grab, cock, and blow/cant stop my flow. I will agree that I need to try to rhyme the same sound more than i did like:

    But I don't feel like the type of variation your talking about is all that necessary when writing a rap and I am a hip hop head/rapper, I guess I associate that type of rhyming more so with poetry than anything.

    It's tough to compare based only on end of bar rhymes. With rap there is generally mid-line rhymes as well as the noticable ones at the end of each bar. You'll notice that in my verse near the end, I used a lot of "A" sounds (including in German) even though those are not the sounds heard at the end of the lines. Hell, I probably make some words sound similar in my head that are totally different should one have a different local accent than myself.

    With poetry, the pace and rhyme is typically more strict than with rap. Though I see the similarities, I have a hard time using rhyme as the only key to one's lyrical abilities.

    True accents play a huge part in rhymes.

    I'm glad that you see what I'm talking about though Inversed with the same sound thing. You are obviously a great rapper which is why I want to see you take it to the next level :D
