^Millinium Force or I305 or Geforce (to name a few) all look miles better than this. If they were to lower those trims some so you actually got some insane airtime on those hills and took those turns a a decent pace, it would be pretty F'in awesome, but right now it seems like its all launch with some highway-like turns and mild airtime hills like the third hill on Titan or Goliath. The launch however does look sick but the rest seems a letdown...
Im far more impressed witht the building itself, really. -

well we CAN'T please everybody , but for me coasters beauty is not on it's speed.. Its on how do they carry the riders feelings. and the sensation it brings like that yummy airtimes... I like those ride who don't really deal to much on much but instead on the effects like the dueling dragons ( my facorite ) maverick, nemesis black mamba and much much more.. -

I dont think it was released today, but I found a pov of this speed machine on youtube. Here is the world's fastest rollercoaster, Formula Rossa: POV
Actually, after the insane 150mph launch, this thing doesnt look all that amazing. The pacing is incredibly slow through the helixes and it doesnt look exciting at all after the first set of trims.
A funny little tidbit: riders are required to wear safety goggles. -

^Don't forget that when designers are dealing with speeds like 150mph, there's only so much 'pacing' you can put on these things before you die. They can't really innovate with these high speed designs, which sucks. -

... You don't understand how g-forces work, do you? Acceleration matters, speed is irrelevant. The profile of a hill matters more than how tall it is. (This is why you can get ejector airtime on rickety old woodies while some newer, high-speed coasters only have mild pops of airtime.)I was saying that wouldn't it be uncomfortable if it is such a high speed coaster, yet it isn't that tall.

It feels like 2010 is the dawn of a new revolution of rollercoaster additions/mutations.
like SFMM remodeling Superman & adding Green Lantern
The X-raptor At Gardaland
Starry Night Ripper-- the new version of a B&M flyer
Cheetah Hunt, a whole new type of intamin accelerator
The tallest, Fastest, Longest GCI and wooden rollercoasster in chinahas been anounced
SFGA going to have the most B&Ms in one park (5)
Intimidator 305 and formula Rossa-- utilizing Intamins new track that can take heavy wear&tear
The Timberliner or something like that, Gravity Groups First Racing coaster with a section where both tracks are tilted 90* TOWARD eachother so the riders can actually hi-five eachother
Krake in Heide park
S&S power developed a type of ride where the track flips repeatively byt the riders (each on either the side, Like Furious Baco, but in log-flume like seats)and is a new generation of kiddie-rides
The Vekoma Stingray Concept finally came to life
Texas Giant Rehab :going to have the steepest drop on a wooden coaster
Dare Devil Dive @SFOG--First Eurofighter to be in a SF park
This is really kind of a breakthrough year in research in park and coastercompamnies alike.
anyways, this will be an epic ride, I can tell that the pace and "looks" of the ride dont matter when the riders ride it, i mean yes, it will be the fastest ride on earth, but nobody said that it would be this series of multiple loops and huge top hats, for example if you put it in simple, Kingda Ka and Top thrill Dragster are just 2 Huge top hats. but theyre the favorite of maybe hundreds of thousands worldwide, what i see Is Rita Mixed with Bizarro at SFNE, but on a much larger scale= an incredible experience -

I believe KMG has designs for a new flat as well. Or so i've heard from IAPPA. I've been following it on TPR. Robb Alvey has actually met people like Bolliger, Vekoma and more. IAPPA sounds like a dream for coasterfreaks.
