Not to bitch about the rules and I know you gave me an answer on PM, but id like to see what others think. Can we please do custom versions of the flat rides you assigned?
I mean it's still gona be the same basic ride types and imo it will make entries more interesting. -

I agree with Darren. At least one person on every team can do custom flats, so it's not as if there's not a level playing field. Plus, allowing customs gives some cooler theming options and a richer theme. This isn't NCSO, for chrissakes... -

But with the custom flat that's much depending on what flat you have to build. In the case of our team the normal one which comes with the game would definitely be the better choice... -

that's pretty much the point of this contest though. use your assigned rides that come with the game... or else they really dont serve a purpose. just make another flat custom guys...

Have to agree with the head honcho here. Everyone having to use the 'flat' they're assigned kinda keeps the field level with some of us not having the option to go custom with what we have. If you feel the need for a custom, just build one that's not assigned as an extra. You can still have your "cooler theming options" yet still be limited with the flat you're assigned like the rest of us.
Christ, not even one day in and people are already whining. You read the fucking rules before you signed up. C'mon now. -

just a simple question.
are submissions which need a different rct2.exe or gui.dat file allowed?
got some things here which I want to test and this sounds intresting enough but first need to know if its allowed.
when i say a different rct2.exe it could be you need to replace yours or use a different program to open rct2 (to make the right changes), not sure yet which I can use. -

Well, as excited as I was to participate in this, i think i might have to drop out. I've had this problem with my computer before, it has crashed completely and windows must be re-installed. Im running windows XP, and everything is fucked up completely. Last night, i took the computer to Best Buy and the local Geek Squad and I dont think im getting it back soon. I'm not a tech expert by any means, but its not good.
I'm really sorry about this guys, I really feel like im letting the guys on my team down. Im missing out on the chance to play with two great players, BG and John, and this is pretty dissappointing to me. If i get my computer fixed or a new one altogether soon, I'd be more than happy to participate, but its not likely that i'll be playing rct for a while.
Im at school now, so thats why im online.
Sorry about this.

Okay guys here's the deal. Tdub dropping out wont mess up anything. In:cites asked a few post before louis to sign up too, so I am going to fill him in. Him, BelgianGuy, and John may all seem like good players but the park they will make might have enough details for even a blind man to see. So dont go complaining about it not being fair and to the more "just average" players... suck it up, its time to build.
Good luck to everyone once again... and Levis use any format, dont matter.
Oh, and to sum up some faq's:
Use any bench, objects, etc... its you park build with what you want
there is no map size.. however dont make it too big since you might lose time
