I just started watching this last night (Memento). Did not finish it, but I will tonight. So far it's pretty good. I've always liked thriller/suspense over horror. Pretty much movies like Seven, Silence of the Lambs, ect. I appreciate the help guys, definitely some good movies above that I have not seen in awhile.
^Human Centipede, did you really like it? Or are you telling me to watch it because you want to see how I'm going to respond? lmao.. I heard it was really bad, but I never really go by reviews because we all have our own taste of movies and not everyone is going to like every movie I enjoy. But I can't say I've heard one person who enjoyed it. lol
Anyone know any good Rock Documentaries? For those looking for a good comedy check out This Is Spinal Tap. It is a "Rockumentary" about a band called Spinal Tap who is from the UK and is touring the US. But, I would like to find some actual documentaries of real bands. -

Check out "Anvil!: The Story of Anvil". It's fucking awesome if you like to see the trials and tribulations of a band struggling to "make it" over a 30 year time span. God bless these guys persistence.Anyone know any good Rock Documentaries?
I'd never heard of The Human Centipede until it was mentioned on Beavis and Butt-Head tonight. Found it ironic that I came here 10 minutes later and saw it mentioned numerous times. The clip they had on B&B looked pretty fucking cheesy though. But, I liked Beavis' idea of combining that with Sex In The City 3, making all the girls into the centipede and killing two sequels with one stone.
I also think it's kinda cool to get a glimpse of people's personalities by the movies that they like -

Didn't want to make a new topic so yeah. Also didn't fit in with the 2013 or 2014 threads:
From Dusk Till Dawn (1996): Classic Tarantino until it goes completely fucking insane. I'll spare you the plot twist but seriously, what. the. fuck. Never have I been so excited, then confused, then excited again watching a film. It's also Clooney's first big break, so it's cool to see him in such a different part. I would highly recommend this, but
DO NOT WATCH THE TRAILERS as they will spoil the twist.
8.9/10
Shrooms (2007): My friend convinced me to see this. It's a horrible independent teen horror flick where the main premise is a group of twenty-somethings travel to Ireland so that they can trip on shrooms. Why they have to go to Ireland? I have not fucking clue. But, the main plot point is that one girl takes a bad hit and ends up killing everybody. Completely predictable, especially since THE WHOLE FUCKING MOVIE IS SPOILED BY A FLASH-FORWARD BEFORE EVERY DEATH. A guy even gets his dick bitten off. Like what the fuck. Why did I even watch this.
5/10
Primer (2004): Known as the most-successful-lowest-budget film of all time, and winner of the 2004 Sundance Grand Jury Prize, Primer is the most confusing shit I have ever seen, but it's good as fuck. It's based on time travel, and a lot of the mechanics make some sense, even though most of the science is based on some bullshit that happens at the beginning of the film. The scenes are presented in a bit of a random order, so it's hard to work things out. Therefore, I recommend watching it twice. The second time is much better. Also, turn the volume up so you can hear the really quiet voices AND THE BEAUTIFUL SOUNDTRACK. Oh my god that soundtrack is divine. Also, I recommend checking out Shane Carruth's (the writer, director, star, composer, editor, producer, etc.) other film, Upstream Color (2013) which was shot in my neighborhood! Woo!8/10
That's all I got for now, but I hope I gave this thread enough life to continue!
