Agreed with Kumba, drawing down visions and ideas from your head is a great way to create something interesting. Building with reference material is great, so you can always do google image searches for certain architecture styles, go to RCDB. to look at real rollercoasters, their layouts, and support work, etc. Then try to replicate the parts you like or use them to help inform your parkmaking. -

I will draw something next timeWhile you don't want to copy other RCT Parkmakers feel free to look around your area mall or anywhere with an atmosphere you like and borrow the shit out of it. My favorite is to look at a bunch of things and switch things around and put elements from one building onto another.
If you can draw that's a HUGE help. I do a lot and so do guys like Xcoaster, Coaster Ed, robbie and a few others I cant recall atm. All VERY good parkmakers.
Also try and limit your projects. It's very hard to make a beautiful park when your work is spread out. I had a bunch of ideas years ago and rolled them all into DRC rather than doing a handful of designs. This is like the detailed way of the suggestion of posix: make a plan. Thank you!
