Oh, yes - Emoha rules! The best music comming out of America right now, perhaps. Although, the whole New-york New-new-wave thing and California's Hip-hop scene are other possibilities, as is Tampa! Tampa kicks ass - in fact, I think I was wrong about Emoha - Tampa makes the best music! Tampa! Tampa! Tampa!

I just came back from seeing Miss Saigon today, so I am listening to the soundtrack for that. At the moment, I have on "The Movie in my mind" and next is "Bui-Doi". Beautiful music, absolutely epic! -

Of course, not being from Omaha I haven't heard a lot (everything on Saddle Creek, some random stuff off of MP3.com, stuff people tell me to download for whatever their own reasons, and whatever is played on my local indie radio station), but most of what I have heard was good.
Blame Bright Eyes for making that area far too hip for its own good...Either way, you've heard of Lovetap? Grasshopper Takeover is more nationally known, but who else have you heard of?
No, I haven't. But I'll go look for them on the internet (and then Kazaa, which I guess is the internet, but, yeah), and I'll get back to you.

But yeah, http://lovetapmusic.com, I believe alot of the album is available for download so that people can spread it around. That was actually the first CD I've bought in around 2 years. Supporting local bands...
