The new CD is old-school, moreso than the Beasties themselves. Some of the rhymes, though, are "wack", as they say. Anyway, that was fucking insane, I need to see them live.Their new CD is quite good. More political, not as many memorable songs, but it's still quality stuff.

Got the CD a day before it hit stores thanks to MTV.com. It's got 7 songs...acoustic versions of This Love, Sunday Morning, She Will Be Loved, Harder to Breathe and The Sun (My personal fav in a tie with H to
...a cover of The Beatles "If I Fell" and also a cover of "Highway to Hell". I have no idea which one picks up the vocals on that but it's amazingly good...doesn't even sound like Maroon 5.

		I saw Maroon 5 butcher, I mean cover the song Closer by Nine Inch Nails on some latenight tv show once. I'm not a big NIN fan, but I do like the song Closer somewhat, and Maroon 5's version was one of the worst musical experiences I've ever had. -
