(Archive) Advertising District / some architecture

i don't know how i'll use this, but i felt like building something. it's based on old cologne buildings and i'd like to hear some opinions.



highly unfinished, but some opinions would be cool

Something to break up the crazy paving would be nice, but other than that, it looks good.

the building on the right is the best in terms of shape, try adding a little more depth and shape into the other facades and this'll be golden

but, i feel the building to the right is also the worst in texture

little bit more...

Only thing i don't really like are those support poles underneath that swing ride, a rock bed would do better i.m.o.

I still can't believe how realistic it looks.

the monorail above the paths make me think about this somehow:
(Took me 10 minutes to find this picture, I saw it a few months ago in berlin at a U-bahn station (tube/metro station))

I really like the red building with the rounded seating area that overlooks the water; I can imagine sitting there and looking out over the water (preferably at an inverted element on some B&M coaster) while I eat and take a break from rides for a bit.
