Yeah! Limp Bizkit! Those bad-ass Nickelback boys! No Doubt, they're hardcore! And Linkin Park, damn they're awesome! No fucking way, BOWLING FOR SOUP! Fuck yeah!

QOTSA, that was fucking great, dude. Better than irsi's "Bush=a Yuri" shite. Thank you.

Are you old enough to be on these boards?
Anyway, I was actually thinking of Deftones and System. Although these bands are heavy because of course, I know as Im an extreme metaller myself. I was comparing both festivals you prick, and Reading comes out having the heavier bands.

If you want to know what your talking about and actually know some heavy bands, look no further.

    Cryptopsy
    Kataklysm
    No Return
    Dying Fetus
    Exhumed
    Soul Demise

They are just some extreme stuff, now you can know what you talking about.
  • Jellybones%s's Photo
I know what I'm talking about.

I'm talking about Bowling for Soup at the festival you called heavy.

QOTSA-2002, whether you want to believe it or not, you're wrong. Not that you're incorrect about Bowling For Soup, of course not.

However one lineup is heavier than the other and it is the one Coasterct Nick is saying is the heavier lineup. Why must you continue to dispute this fact?

Nu-Metal, Pop-Punk and Post-Hardcore kicks the buttocks of Indie-Pop, with some Electronica and Hip-Hop thrown in for good measure, in the heavy department anyday (even if I do feel the less-heavy festival has the best lineup).

That is that, and so I shall shut up. Good night.
  • Jellybones%s's Photo
Yes, I suppose the Reading festival is heavier, however that can hardly be considered heavy.

V Fest is a thousand times better, heavy or not.
  • Micool%s's Photo
Wow, System of a Down and Flaming Lips at ONE CONCERT???

    Lucky dogs.

P.S. Does it surprise me that I haven't heard of the Soup Bowlers? Or, um, uh...whatever.

    Put it this way.

Bowling for Soup makes Blink-182 look like the motherfucking Ramones.

Bowling for Soup makes Blink-182 look like the motherfucking Ramones.

What's that supposed to mean? Blink-182 are the fucking Ramones minus most everything which makes the Ramones great. Bowling for Soup merely removes the rest.

With that said, the only Ramones album I can listen to through and through is the one they did with Phil Spector.

After all, when you spend an entire career ripping somebody off, having them help you rip them off can only make you greater (to me at least).

    Anywho...

I got that Cody ChesnuTT song stuck in my head. Fun, isn't it? 'I look good in leather, look good in leather...' ah, yes.

Somebody should put Cody ChesnuTT on the bill for one of those festivals, so I can kill him for getting that damned song stuck in my head for a record breaking 3 fucking months!

    Yeah...

Ramones kick ass. Cody ChesnuTT does too. Bowling for Soup doesn't.

    Ha ha.

The Field Day Festival lineup was just announced, and it rapes your silly little British festivals like a priest and a boy in a confessional. Lineup includes (but is not limited to) Radiohead, Beck, Interpol, the Beastie Boys, and plenty more fine acts. No doubt it is worth the likely high ticket price.
