Imagine getting carded every time you buy Oreos. I'm glad there are a lot of things that are legal in Nevada that aren't anywhere else. Imagine trying to pass a law to ban oreos, thats just a moronic idea in itself. It'd almost be like trying to outlaw breathing.

Interesting thought, banned to kids, would that mean getting IDed in order to buy a pack of oreos? Have a we card program for oreos, now thats scary.

lmao. I can see it now, the Truth campaign leaves the Tabacco industry and starts to harass the Oreo companies.

    It's possible.

Those Truth kids have nothing better to do.

Why does this bullshit have to happen in my state? Why can't they ban OREOs in Wyoming or something? What would I do without OREOs?

We got all the damn artsy democrats in this state. ;)

This will never fall through. At most, Oreo will have to change some of the ingradients. AT MOST. This is almost as retarded as the fast food cases. Almost.

Well, the lawyer just dropped the case today so it's dead. Not to fear, continue "unlocking magic" or whatever you punk kids do nowadays.

"unlocking magic"? Is that some kind of drug reference?

    Read this at Westcoaster....

Lawsuit seeks to ban sale of Oreos to children in California - San Francisco Chronicle, 5/12/03

Oreo cookies should be banned from sale to children in California, according to a lawsuit filed by a San Francisco attorney who claims that trans fat -- the stuff that makes the chocolate cookies crisp and their filling creamy -- is so dangerous children shouldn't eat it.

They sound as intelligent as Homer Simpson! :D
I live on the other side of town, and I don't care.

"Unlock the Magic" was Oreo's slogan a while back (i'm not sure whether or not it still is). So no, it's not a drug refference, and the joke is now dead. :| ;)

Um... you do realize that the California legislature is Republican-controlled... right? It's just Gay Davis that's an idiot and a disgrace to Democrats everywhere.

Just another stupid lawsuit to join the SLC also known as the Stupid Lawsuit Community. It will now join the ranks of "I put hot coffe between my legs while I was driving and scroched myself" or the classic "I'm sueing McDonald's for making my kid fat."

What will they think of next,

Yeah, but California is still a very liberal state. No arguing against that.
