Sorry for the size, but here's tonight's dinner. Salmon with quinoa, sweet potato, baby kale, and edamame, with a lemon mustard vinaigrette and hemp seeds.

A wreath of 'frikandel' (typically Dutch compressed meat sausage meant for deep frying) cut into pieces and cooked normally. With a mayonaise tower.

Yes, it's a giant tompoes. I bought it from Jumbo because none of the Albert Heijn's I tried sold it... Ironically when I went to Weeps I found one at Albert Heijn. Anyway, these are supposed to be cut in four but bigger is better I heard! -

It's two crispy pastry cake like slices with cream in between. The top slice has some pink sweet glazing on it. It's pretty good, but there is no correct way to eat them since it will get messy anyway. -

Salmon and pepperjack sandwich with lemon juice on a toasted brioche bun. And some homemade fries that are a bit undercooked but last time I made them they were perfect. It's not a whole lot to look at but I'm new to cooking and it was very tasty
