Ask the Experts / Track layering

I figured since there is no tutorial for track layering it must be very easy to do, but I cannot figure out how to do it properly. Maybe I am missing something, but using the rides menu in 8cars doesn't work for manipulating the heights of tracks (it always crashes), and I am not quite sure how to do it with MOM. As example, I'd like to lower some monster truck track onto a wooden coaster track.

Edit; I guess this topic could be useful too.

Thanks, I should have figured it out myself.

    Or just use zero clearances.

Yeah you could use zero clearances and build the track through the other track the other way around

In this case, is the end result the same as with putting the track half a unit above?

No, because the track won't be half a unit above. But I imagine this can look equally 'good' (depending on your taste).

Oh, I get it. Thanks for the explanation.
