So i get a varied opinion on this object (its been posted in other places) i've decided to post the object here. I think you can guess what the object is and what it does.
I'll post a download link if it is wanted. (i have a feeling it won't anyway)
NOTE : Screen is large : 854x716 ... also remember that JPG can reduce quality.
(Thanks to Cougar for the sloped waterfall object) -

Its a tile of water that moves in the direction the arrow is pointing. (arrow is shown in the game menu....but not on the actual object when placed.)
The water is rotatable and colourable.
That should answer a few questions. -

actually, its not half bad, just keep remembering that your going for the look of something that would actually be in rct, maybe if you could match the look of the river rapids water it would be better. Nice work, keep improving!

exactly! if you make it look rctish it will be wonderful. I would actually download it. That is the key to making good scenery. I don't make scenery. Well I have a colored seat I made (which is rctish). But I want to use scenery that is rctish so it dosn't stand out among all the other scenery and make it look bad. You want it to look good so that people like Fatha' or Corkscrewed will download it and use it in their park and think "wow. my work is in this awesome park" or "my scenery made that ride look great" or something like that. also I would post here more for the best advice and comments because at rct2.com I could raise a block of land and post it and they would all say it looks amazing, seriously.just keep remembering that your going for the look of something that would actually be in rct, maybe if you could match the look of the river rapids water it would be better.

thanks for the comments PA and Metal.
Thats the sort of thing i would prefer than "what the f**k is that? Its s**t!"
I'll post here more often with my objects if i get less of the above and more of the suggestions like the last posts from PA and Metal.

Anyways to the object....
well i think it looks ok in RCT but the river rapid suggestion i will look into.
the non-rct look is probably due to the whole object being made from scratch just using the colours from RCT's water.
I'll make a new object using the river rapids and post it in this topic soon. (Watch This Space) -

While I don't disagree with Prince Ashitaka completely, I do believe that the rapids represent just that, rapids. What tom25489 has created represents more of a leisurely flow of river/stream water. The normal flow of water in a river or stream does not look like the rapids piece in the river rapids ride.maybe if you could match the look of the river rapids water it would be better.
To me, the rapids represent a fast flow of water over rocks or quick drops in the riverbed.
As for tom25489's flowing water, use it if you want, or don't. The choice is yours.
tom25489, make the object to suit your taste. If you like what you've created, don't change it. If you think that your flowing water should look like the rapids, change it. -

im wondering if someone could make flowing water objects that have actual bulk instead of being half an inch of water flying across rocks...
