hmm, yes adix, they all suck my...nevermind...anyways, the park is really an interesting ride of experimenting innovative themes and ideas and you people should open your eyes to more realism intwined with fantasy, a construction age...its obviously going to be barren, channelwood...its obviously (if you do your research and play one of the best game trilogys ever made [WHICH I BEAT AND YOU DIDN'T FREAK!] you would know) is going to be layers of huge trees and path. Ok then, lets compare.

The only difference I see is the types of trees, and the ride that's pictured. At least use more than one land type through out the whole park.

btw, Another suggestion would be to make the landscape more rocky, more edges would really help it look less unfinished.

edit: Woops, I misread your post, and compared the wrong two screens. In the case of metalworks, it doesn't look the same as the rest, you are correct there. But, I'm not just saying all of this park looks the same, every park you make does. ''Metalworks'' is one exception, in which you decided to take a risk and make something completely different. However that risk ended up looking hideous.

So, what have we learned? You needs to take your head out of your ass for a minute and do something different, that doesn't look like the skidmarks you recently found in your panties.

i like that tree, but it seems kind of boring to me, find a way to make it more interesting plz.

In other words, I think the tree selection in that last pic is perfect without the 1/4 tile trees. Shocking I'm sure.

there ARE other ground types you know, have you looked at the pallette lately?
other than that, i like the construction theme thing, its neat.

Yeah it is a bit monotonous in places. when i saw it in it's warlier stages it was a damn good break from most of the stuff around today. the park seemed to have it's own very good personallity and has some great ideas even back then.

PS. i beat Myst and Riven too but still havn't played Exile...

Well your first mistake was trying to make a large tree with only track. Therefore it does not look like a tree, but a mass of metal. Masses of metal are never good, but since I'm sure you spent alot of time on that tree, and used alot of hackage, it has to stay. My advice to you, is to put as many plants around the tree to make up for the lack there of on the tree. It just needs more green, it's tooo brown. Sometimes no use of plants can be a good thing (See Natelox's City of God) but this is not one of those cases. Spruce it up a bit and then it will look much better. The metal works thing though, on the other hand, is top notch. I like that alot.

Considering the fact that I actually venture out of the norm. while you stay and build giant squares, I think I'm doing fine.

Let's comment on some comments.

Nope, about 2 and half months ago. It seems shorter cause Exile was released a month after completion.

Anyways, you probably won't like it. A lot people won't, but that's too bad. I like it, which is the only thing that keeps me finishing parks. I finally realized the reasons my parks all fell through was because I was building for other people, not myself. Now I finish parks, and they aren't of low quality in my opinion.

Its really immature how you insult everyone that doesn't like your park by saying that at least you try to "venture" out of the norm and try new things.
