I can do layouts and unique hacks too.

Figure i should give a serious pros/cons since I'm in the danger zone in the draft predictions lol

+ Have a nice document full of park ideas I never got around to making

+ As a producer/recording engineer/musician/composer I've released 5 albums in the last 5 years, so I have a lot of recent experience leading and finishing creative projects.

+ Have a predictable but also flexible 9-5 job, with not many hard commitments outside of work

+ Career in software engineering, so I should be able to get up to speed with all the recent developments in the last couple years.

+ Just bought a new Windows laptop for RCT so I'm basically committed to getting my money's worth at this point lol.

+ I'd say in general, my eye for aesthetics/coordination/atmosphere is much better than it was 5-10 years ago.

+ Feel free to check out my music portfolio.  I think my major strength creatively is I'm able to take a macro approach to projects, tying together smaller pieces coherently with smooth transitions and textural motifs.  I've also had to adapt my style to each musical project I've worked on, while maintaining my own distinct sound.  In most of my bands I've been the de facto creative 'leader'.

+ I think I would be good a good asset as a project manager/strategist/co-captain, helping to plan parks out, delegate work, and create/maintain to do lists.  This could be utilized by choosing me as a utility pick.

~ There's about a 50/50 chance that I'll either create a really sick layout or a mediocre one.

    - Haven't played since 2015

    - Never had the patience for micro detailing

    - Tend to be a distractible builder (will go between sections of the park randomly without finishing one thing at a time)

    - Don't really have the patience for ridiculous hacks (anything more complex than track merging)

    - Not much of a 'workhorse', pretty slow and meticulous builder, though occasionally I might become manic or get into the zone and crank stuff out.

    - I am in an active band, so things like practice (~4 hours on Sundays), shows (1-3 per month), and studio work (possibly some in April and May), are hard commitments.

    - Not up to speed with OpenRCT, Discord, multiplayer, etc, but as I said before I can learn pretty quickly.  If anyone can point me towards some topics to read, or mentor me that would be greatly appreciated.

Download Open RCT (google search). I fiddled around with it and honestly it has changed my entire outlook on the game. Please do it before the contest begins so you can familiarize yourself with all the awesome new features... imagine permanent zero clearance with no issues of ghosted objects, eye dropper tool to select any existing colors/objects, MOM anything with ease, etc.

Then download the discord app on your phone and join the NE discord channel. Its really active, and thats where I asked all my noob questions about open RCT and everyone was really helpful.

Please join the Discord before you download OpenRCT2, so we can watch in amazement as you discover the glory of OpenRCT2! It was amazing watching the reactions of AvanineCommuter, honestly. It was like listening to Neil Armstrong taking his first steps on the moon or something.

Ha! It felt exactly like that!

Seriously, the eye dropper tool was something I did NOT expect, and that single feature has sped up my building speed by a factor of 10. I always had a hard time remembering where to find every little piece of scenery, and then having to figure out the exact color combo to match a piece I already placed was a headache. Now its just click and place... amazing.

    Pros:

+ elite NCSO ability (see screens, parks, etc.) (better than Shogo, he just beat me to the punch of releasing a completed park)

+ full of big park ideas (ex. Pridelands) and little innovative ideas (NCSO trampolines)

+ willing to do grunt work (California Screamin' supports in Paradise Pier)

+ experience (member of the 2nd place H2H7 Hurricanes, got a gold solo and design solo to my name, )

    + good communication

    + good with layouts

    Cons:

    - time (graduating, moving, and starting a full-time job in the next 4-5 months, so there could be weeks I do almost nothing on a park)

    - mild perfectionist so I'm a slow builder

    - limited CS experience

    - Ii I'm not feeling inspired, nothing worth presenting is gonna be made

Nin with the execution, but we did a great job bouncing ideas off one another early on in the initial design stages

    + I can work in a team

+ Pretty versatile when it comes to RCT2 building styles.

    - Bad at building when not feeling like it

    - I sometimes have a hard time to take me, the game and you guys seriously :p

For examples of screens and parks, just click on my name I guess.

I'm new to posting on this site but I'm interested in building for this competition. I'm not very good at custom supports. Here are some of my best builds.
