RCT Discussion / A little Nostalgia

Some of you may have read the RCT History thread I posted in this week, but I wanted to share a screenshot of what a "good/great" RCT park looked like before NE Designs was a thing. Nevis' park UIX and NE totally changed the RCT world when it was released. This was RCT/LL before RCT2 was even a thing. This was probably early/mid 2002.

I thought some older people may enjoy the nostalgia, and some newer people can look back and laugh at how simple things once were. It also shows how much RCT has drastically changed in that time, and what good/great looks like now, blows this stuff out of the water.

Track merging and build-through was a brand new concept, theming used very little terrain or use of complex scenery elements. It was essentially buildings, coasters/rides, and then stuff every inch of the unused space with trees.......
