THe problem is that they don't respond to boosters..... The planes are merged onto Standard looper track... and reach a line of boosters set to max power but the trains don't respond to them... they just run right on over at 5 mph lol... -

The station of the coaster which you used as the booster has to be the station from your suspended coaster.THe problem is that they don't respond to boosters..... The planes are merged onto Standard looper track... and reach a line of boosters set to max power but the trains don't respond to them... they just run right on over at 5 mph lol...
Otherwise the boosters won't have any effect. -

I don't know much about original rct, but since you have to set the launch on the track to 2 or something when you merge, couldn't you set the launch to a higher speed? Does that work? -

WTF are you talking about. The trains don't React to Boosting i think cuz the base of the train is above track and thats the central of it where it is actually connected, so unless you have boosters on the top then u cant boost it. I'm a genious. Maybee if you merge the track higher?? maybee it prb wont work tho but if u make the track higer when u merge it will read the boost? Maybe not im just pondering. -

Yeah it doesn't matter where the train is connected. That's just dependent on the art in the game, it has nothing to do with the relationship between track and train. The reason you can make seemingly trackless coasters where the train floats off the track is because the game treats suspended and regular coasters exactly the same way. Unfortunately, neither inverted coasters nor suspended coasters nor rapids can have boosters so whenever you use the floating train hack the boosters are useless. -

SSSMCCCCCMSSS S S S S SSSSSBBBBBSSSS
M = Merge
S = Suspended
C = Corkscrew station (or any other coaster with boosters)
B = Boosters
I think that would work. -

aha thanks guys that explains it. i didnt know the station had to be a coster with boosters.... but it still leaves a problem... i need the plains to be above the corkscrew track... if use a corkscrew station the trains are below.... i guess i could rig it so the track was 1 or 2 spaces above the deck of the carrier...
is it possible to hack the station so it works?
