It is the biggest RCT fan site out there (or was, although Danimation doesn't count cause it fluctuated at times, and NE would give it a run for its money, but that's not the point). How is it over-rated? I think that you're also contradicting what you said over at RCT2.com as well.

I'm not contradicting myself at all. I genuinely do wish the team the best of luck in the future. I quite liked the Station, but I feel personally that it is over-rated. That's my opinion, take it or leave it.

any new (or returning) rct site has to be good news. im looking forward to seeing wot it has to offer...

While I was a little surprised to see thedoctorpepper's post, I somewhat agree with him.
They're a great community, but what exactly do they bring to the table that other sites don't have?

Still, Phoenix knows that I love the Station. It's definitely one of the best RCT sites out there, I just think it's also a bit overrated.

Well, we release new, incredible parks every single week.
We have H2H, something no other site has.
Park Wars is very popular when thats up.
We now have RCT Survivor, which was really my sole purpose of visiting RCT Station.
We have the best parkmakers here, amazing spotlights, etc.
Station just doesn't have that kind of stuff really.

It was a cross between NE and Rct2.com

They were not as tightass like rct2.com and they were not as loose as NE so that choas wouldnt happen.

RCTS used to be good. Until N00bs took over...

I dunno, the station had some cool stuff. They had the spotlight feature around the same time as you started, iris. They had that pic of the day forum, which was awesome. It was pretty awesome being a member there.

For a while.

I have to admit though, after a while it got pretty boring and spammed up. In fact, everyone was telling everyone else not to spam, because there was so much. For the month or so before it closed I only went there for the club forums.

lmao..... well i will be checking out the station when it re-opens and im looking forward to another decent rct site. even if a few ppl think its overrated, its obviously got a bit of a "cult" following still in the rct community

Not even close. NE's Spotlight was way before we started Pinnacle Parks at RCT Station. We just did it different where we had an everchanging panel of judges.

Pure and original NE members will say that the Station is overrated and....

The original Station members will say the same thing about NE.


I personally prefer the Station.....

1. they started the RCT clubs
2. they had RCT survivor
3. they had guess the ride
4. they had pinnacle park (although it was relatively new)
5. they don't have to swear to be cool (although swearing is cool so scratch this one)
6. better park member can't be an option, purely because it is speculative.
7. they had tons of parks, and IMO the most knowledgable people in the biz, Steve Franks, Dr. J, Mike Robbins, etc....
8. etc...etc...

Actually I don't see your point Iris beacuse the Station had a ton of shit.

I still do like NE a bunch though so don't get me wrong, I am just adding to the fray of things....

YaY! this is realy great news. I cant wait for the site to be up. RCTS has and always will be the number 1 RCT resource out there. No offense to NE but NE is slow moving and just overall a slow paced forum/site. I will still post here at NE but when RCTS is back up that is my main posting place!
