General Chat / Top 10 RCT2 Parkmakers?

Hey, i made one person's list. Maybe people will notice when i actually release a park lol...

I hate doing this and if you're not on my list don't be insulted, my list only includes parkmakers whose work I have been able to take ideas and inspiration from and who are themselves influencing my RCT2 work. So, in no particular order....

Foozy - Lumieres was among the best examples of RCT2 work I have seen so far. This may be the best example of atmosphere in RCT2. Also the screen from your Hi-Rollers was incredible as well. If you ever want to send me anything to look at I'd love to see more

Aero - RCT2 may fit his style better than anyother parkmaker. I'm not always overwhelmed with everything in his parks, but there are always at least a handful of some of the most unique theming ideas in everything he does.

Pyro - I haven't seen your most recent stuff (hint hint), but what I have seen has been of amazing quality. Yuor parks always have such a clean and organized feel to them!

SACoasterFreak - I saw RoB last night...nuff said.

Those who will likely be on my list once I see more stuff or more pics...

Corkscrewed - I really can't wait to see what you can do with custom scenery...The Disney park looks great, but I feel the limited scenery is holding you back from what you really could do.

Meretrix - Tilted Acres looks to be among the best Disney parks ever made....it's just that WW issue holding you back

Timothy Cross - I wasn't as enamored with Fantastic Wonders as some, but the talent is there

cBass - Wisconsin was among the most creative parks I've ever seen

There are more I could mention, but these are the ones that most intrigue me atm.

befor i start i must say even tho i see grate screens all the time im not gona count them here. you need a park DONE to be on my list.

10.Fozzy - have never seen city of lights (can someone please get me this park- DRC2828@aol.com ) or his hi roller pics, but im gona go with the crowd.

9.Marshy/Metroploe - JW, 5 elaments, Ol wreak ect.....

8.Penguin_BOB (Sinister Oz to you) mind blowing archy skillz, and not bad at coasters too

7.RCT Flame - tinted shores ruled.

6.Titan - SFHS was way cool and his half of tiumba kicked. and btw im starting a new park with him tonight!

5. Areo - Wormwood was not my cup of tea (too messy) but this WB reel park is look grate (opps thats a screen )

4. Mike Robbins - MLF, virgina creek too of the best RCT2 parks out their. oh and tell mick to stop spaming that fuckin MLF topic.

3. Toon Towner - i have seen some of top rate RCT2 stuff from him but just not enought.

2. Junya Boy - the guy just got another RCT2 park runner up you need to be a grate parkmaker to do that lol ok but for real his coaster are insanely grate and now he start doing these imposable hacks WOW.

1. Butterfinger - Euroscape + Unavarsal Caribean Seas = Best Parkmark Ever. what cant he do ?

as for me, yeah i see my name on a few lists here, im not gona rate my self coz its my work so i see it diffreantly as i have done it, maybe like in the 8-12 range DC vs Marvel, Miami Amusements, Tiumba, Dimensions and Nirvana are all good park and 5 of them to boot. You can DL them all here.

Make a park in RCT2. Anyone can make good RCT2 coasters. So as far as I am concerned you are not that great in RCT2.

Well I finally reinstalled rct2, just to fool around with the ride creator though, I'm still a pure blooded rct1 person. But it did give me a chance to see some rct2 work finally.

So here's my list:

1: Toontowner -- Scenary god, and Toon's IOA kick's ass with one screen shot.

2: Meretrix -- Best.Disney.Park.Ever.

3: Butterfinger -- Euroscape was an excellent park, I like his style, just overused in the park?

4: Foozy -- I have only seen one screen of his work, but I really like what he can do so far.

5: Aero -- Wormwood was nice, I can't say anything bad about it yet, as I haven't viewed many rct2 parks yet, but I see Aero is got rct2 down.

6: Junya -- I have yet to dl his parks yet, but from the screens, he's not far from the top 5.

7: Pyro -- I don't care what he says about his 'old shit' I saw the old disney Hawiann screens, the owned, and he's only this low becuase he hasn't shown more of it.

8: Corkscrewed -- I'm getting pissed waiting for his park, but the screens looked el sweeto.

9: Mike Robbins -- I'm not fond of his style, but I gotta give him props for still being a great rct2 parkmaker.

10: Scarface -- Yea, he got the talent, I wish he'd release a mega soon though.

I just may try it again though. I just get sick of all this custom scenary shit. Because there is so much and you can't have a lot of scenary in the park. People will say it sucks because it's all orginal and no custom scenary. That's on reason I quit.

Is there somehow you can have no scenary limit in a park?

Uh I think that others have proved that using just what RCT2 gives us can produce some astounding work. (see: Walt Disney Escape, Busch Gardens San Simeon)... So don't use the whole "it's shit now with custom scenery" bullshit excuse... if it's really good, people will think so.
