Also, listen to some Pennywise and Anti-Flag

Check out some old Misfits, and some Anti-Flag, good AFI (black sails in sunset, etc.), and Rancid.

Someone tell me what's wrong with new AFI.

Oh yeah, listen to any and all AFI, Thrice, Anti-Flag, Blood Brothers, M80, Our Lady Peace, Yellowcard for new stuff...Dead Kennedys, Ramones, Sex Pistols (bah if they're manufactured) for older stuff...and I'm only talking about commonly accepted punk. There's more if you go into punk's various offshoots and subgenres. i.e. the Liars. Listen to Liars and tell me if you like them.

Well, Green Day was the last great punk rock band...then came Warning. But we can reminisce, can't we? And they still put on a fucking stupendous live show. And they're still funny. Something Good Charlotte should learn.
