kwanza is an african holiday that is celebrated between Dec. 26th and Jan 1. I also looked it up in a dictionary and it said it was an "African American Cultural Celebration", but I've only heard of it celebrated in Africa. I don't see any African Americans (in Canda or the US) jumping for joy when the holiday comes.
