This has been bugging me for a while, so how do you make ride cars/boats/trains without track. Hmm..I didn't explain that well, but for example if you wanted to make a custom ride and you wanted the roller coaster train as a seat. -

You need to ask the almighty lord of hacks, Kumba. He hold the answer to your question young one. -

For RCT1:
Firstly open up the Beast trainer. Then select 'special build mode' you can then build the station (usually just on one block for 1 car) and entrance/exit to whatever train/boat/car you want to use. Then set the ride to a launch mode of 1mph using the Beast. After that click the yellow button to test the ride and then immediately click to close it. The car should stay in the station. Then you can bury scenery using the Beast and all should disappear except for the train/car/boat.
I don't know if this is the same for RCT2 but I wouldn't have thought it was much different. -

Ah, thanks for all your help. I knew it was something like that! (not really, but I like to think so.. ) -

Make sure not to sink any other scenery/track with it though. Sometimes if you stack/sink part of a functioning ride it causes an error trapper. -

Ill just clear up where mantis left off.It is possible to sink/raise (and move ) parts of coasters and still have them function as normal which is pretty cool if u wanna do something like a skycoaster that works (~tussauds plug~).The only rule is that you dont sink a connecting joint of the ride.
eg.
you can sink
_
/_
the inversion part of a loop but not the raiser and lower of the special element.
Confused?you shouldn't be cos all you do to sink a single tile of the element is:-
Build the element
Zero all
Special build
Build path under parts you want to sink
Sink scenery
End special build
Restore all
oh and what ever u do dont try and delete the track afterwards :::<!--emo&--><!--endemo--> -

Thanks RRP. That is useful info. I'm wondering if it's possible to delete vertical track then if you don't delete the slope pieces before and after it. Of course I could just try it myself and see. -
Kumba Online
nope i did not know how to do that RRP your tips sound very helpful. i look foward to trying this hack soon. and i know it can be done in RCT2, coz Butterfinger did it in his Hi Roller. You need to ask the almighty lord of hacks, Kumba. He hold the answer to your question young one.

NP ed but i wont work on vert sections as far as i know beacuse they are seperate pieces.
The best way to do what i think your trying to do (invisible vert drop) is have a inverted station and do a gravity hack and then build the track in so it looks like it running on railings most of the track (well thats what i think ure trying to do)
Another thing i forgot is that u can almost all large half loop (including the top part) up to which ever low point u desire, set it in down/upward launch then the train will reverse to the point that dissapears on the half loop then launch from there ( i think-not tried it recently )
could be usefull for smoother drops...i dunno -
