Um, no. I watched the International TV Spot for Kill Bill Vol. 2.Are you talking about the Teacher's Pet move?
You can view it here:
Kill Bill Volume 2 International TV Spot
It's pretty boring if you ask me. But, I have no doubts that the movie will kick ass. I hear it will be more violent and bloody than Volume One. Sweet... -

They better release both kill bill volumes on ONE DVD instead of two, that would be redicolous, since it's basically the same movie. -

from what I have read a film coming out called the village from what I have read I think it could be a hit. -

They will actually do both. They better release both kill bill volumes on ONE DVD instead of two, that would be redicolous, since it's basically the same movie.
I read somewhere that Kill Bill Volume One and Vlume Two will be released seperately. Each will have their own special features and such. And then, they, Miramax, will release a Kill Bill Volume One and Two Special Edition Pack with features not on the two released before, but it's own. It may also include a short featurette.
So, When they're released seperately, they each get their own special features, but when the special edition pack is sold, none of those special features will be apart of it, but better ones.
I hope that made sense. I'm going to go find the link now. I can't wait much longer for Volume Two. Oh, and if Volume Two gets pushed back to April, I hear that the DVD for Volume One will be as well. But, if it isn't, the Kill Bill Volume One DVD will feature two discs and retail at $29.95, and be released on February 3, 2004.

I think I see how it works...
KBv1 gets special feature A.
KBv2 gets special feature B.
But the KBv1-2 gets special feature C.
So you have to buy all 3 to get all the special features.
Or am I wrong?

Get a VCD of Hero (I'm assuming you're referring to the Jet Li movie) and watch it with subtitles.Others to possibly look out for are... The Punisher (the trailer looked awful so my hopes are low) and Hero (would be on here but I've given up hope of ever seeing this film since Miramax has been pushing it back for about 2 years now).

Of all the movies you've listed so far the only two that really interest me atm are Eternal Sunshine and Ladykillers. I'm a BIG fan of both Kaufman and the Coen Bros. -

None of those films look to be any good, in my humble opinion. Some of them have good names attached, so I might see them, but even those don't seem like they'd be my cup-of-tea. I do hope 2004 is a better year for movies than that! -

I've seen Hero but I'd go see it on the big screen in a second if they actually released it in the US. I was actually a little disappointed in the film overall, but it does have some amazing compositions. The fight in the leaves in particular is gorgeous. -

vTd I cannot believe you included "The Butterfly Effect", that movie is going to be painful to watch. That was the worst part about going to see Return of the King.
Anyways.
All of your other recomendations are good though.
I think that Hildalgo is going to be entertaining, I can see why you say it might be forgettable, but I gotta see it to really know.
I know your not there, but I think a mention for "The Day After Tomorrow" will be needed, just the scope of the movie is impressive.
But, yeah.
Some good movies are coming. Makes me sad we have no Lord of the Rings to look foward to.

Though rumor has it (not that rumors are good to follow, but still...) that Peter Jackson wants to make a movie from The Hobbit. Some good movies are coming. Makes me sad we have no Lord of the Rings to look foward to.
Maybe he'll look into the Silmarillion (sp?), too.

THere is nothing in the Sim... that needs to be made into a movie.
PJ wants to make the movie but there is some wierd ass legal battle that is going on.
Dunno.
That would be intense. -

The Sil is LITERALLY unfilmable. It would be like trying to film the entire Bible, not to mention the battles dwarf (imagine giant armies of dragons and Balrogs laying seige to a city)
anything in either the Hobbit or LOTR. The budget would simply be too high and the book not commercial enough to work. -

I would imagine the Hobbit is already in works under wraps, as there is a Hobbit game sitting right next to ROTK in your local Wal-Mart, which looks a lot like a video game formed from a movie to me. -

If New Line can ever get those distribution rights for The Hobbit from MGM, expect to see the movie in no time.
