my kiddosense is telling me you're talking about windowblinds, or stylexp. if its the latter, i'd have to agree, its horrible. kewl peeps have hacked uxtheme.dll's, which take no resources. yay.

WindowsBlinds is actually much worse than StyleXP whenit comes to resources.

i've no info on wb. hate all the skins. i just mentioned it because it's similar to stylexp.

Also the clock problem, to solve it all you need to do is right click in that space then go to properties and then check the box for show clock.

Tips for making der himen desktop pretty.
1. Get rid of the thingers in the bottom right, it's really simple, just right click on your taskbar go to properties<customize and then hide all of your stuff.
2. Don't leave dir himen icons on the desktop.
3. Have purtty desktop.
